Always Happens To Me

chapter 2

Once I get home I hop into the shower and after that I put on a blue tank top and black shorts. Then I decide to make dinner. I make white rice with baked chicken breasts.

I eat some of the food and put the leftovers in the fridge. I go brush my teeth and then start to edit a manuscript that I'd brought home. I finish editing it after an hour by that time its already seven.

Wow my day goes by fast hopefully so will my week.

I then head outside of my apartment to see if I have mail, I usually pick up the mail after I come back from work but today I was way to lazy to do so

I also grab a key to actually open the mail box, I then rush over to where the mail is at.

I open my mail box and see a ton of bills but I also see my paycheck.

I open the paycheck and see how much I earned last week.

As I see how much I've earned I jump up in joy then I hear a light chuckle," You sure look happy today."

Then I turn around and see James, "What the hell are you doing here James ?"

"What can't I come see my girlfriend ?"

I'm so pissed that he just called me that and I can't believe I was ever his girlfriend .

"I'm not yours anymore, do you understand ! Let go of me !"

He chuckles and tightens his grip on me. I start to shove his chest but he won't budge.

"LET GO OF ME NOW !!!"

"But why would it do that sweetheart."

I keep struggling against him but he keeps me next to him, then out of no where I hear,"Let go of her NOW, and leave her alone."

It sounds just like Gavin.....

James turns around but I am still behind him, he has an arm wrapped around my waist.

"What are you going to do about it pretty boy."

"I don't know sock your sorry ass face to the ground."

Oh my god Gavin is actually going to fight,god please no.

James just laughs and lets go of me. Then he gets near Gavin and starts to round him.

Then out of no where James throws a punch and Gavin blocks it and then does a round kick on James face and James falls unconscious.

I rush over to Gavin and hug him and say ,"thank you so much...."

He just shoves me off him and say, " no need to thank me I'll find a way for you to repay me."

What the fuck why would I repay him when I hadn't even asked for his help ?

He then says, "Actually I've thought of a way you can repay me."

I was about to ask how when he kissed me in the lips and then walked off.

I was still in shock when I remembered that I had to close the mail box and that James was lying cold on the floor.

I close the mail box and leave James there. Then head to my apartment and head to bed.

Just like last night I go to sleep thinking about Gavin but this time I'm thinking about the kiss.
