Enemies now turned into allies. Differences are now put aside, for better or worse; the Guardians have to now work for Norrix Kane, the Baroness of Darkness, and her loyal servant Tefanya.
Them coexisting would not be an easy task as Norrix Kane herself has proven to be much troublesome for Sofia as she is becoming more skeptical of her minute by minute.
Jordan sat in the War Room of the bunker, formulating a plan against Prince Leo.
They were sitting alongside him, the Black Dagger Pirate Crew, the Freelancers, several Guardians commanders, and of course Norrix Kane. Together each group discussed what resources they were able to gather up for the fight ahead.
"What have we got on hand?" he asked them. Spike raised his hand, answering, "I have at least a hundred or so battle-born Freelancers on my call, they may be a little beaten up, but they're always down to whoop some royal ass, for a small fee, of course."
The Freelancers started roaring, getting excited and recognized. One Guardian, a Berserker named Eisendan, stood from his chair. A brigade of Berserker Guardians stood behind him, waving their Guardian sigil flag of honor and glory.
"I have two thousand Berserks behind me, all across Gaia; they are ready to bring the hammer down," he said. "Am I right, boys?"
Berserkers cheered for their lead commander, stomping their hammers onto the floor. It shook the room just a little.
"This is looking good, we still need some more reinforcements, but otherwise, you all get ready for a fight; we leave a sunrise," Jordan retorted.
His men then left the room on his orders, all excited or pumped for the battle ahead.
As the room cleared, Snow and his team all looked tensely over to Norrix Kane and Tefanya. The captain of the Black Dagger had the most grudge out of all of them, considering it was Norrix Kane who destroyed his ship and murdered both Andrion and Anna.
However, Snow informed Jordan that the 7 Seas Treaty, binding their compatriots from any combat, was only made between the king and the pirates. Since the death, that allowed the Black Rat Mafia to send several men, women, weapons, and vehicles, but that is as far as they can do now.
Afterward, he left along with his crew, and the only ones left in the room were Trevor, Scarlett, Sofia, and Norrix Kane.
"Look, we're heading in for the long haul; I need lieutenants, I need my best friend to fight alongside me," Jordan said to them.
Sofia nodded and left the room. Norrix Kane and Tefanya were about to leave until one of them had something to say. "I am looking forward to this battle, Paladin; you have quite the support group," Norrix Kane said.
She then left the room; Tefanya, however, stayed to talk with Jordan herself.
"Are you coming, dear?" Norrix Kane asked her.
Tefanya shook her head no. Her response surprised Norrix Kane, as she only raised an eyebrow and continued leaving the room.
"Can I have some time to talk with the Paladin? We have something to discuss," she said to the others.
Though they were hesitant, Jordan commanded them to leave the room, stating, "I won't be long; go gear up."
His friends left on his orders.
Once the door closed behind them, Tefanya threw a secret mist in the room and turned her attention to Jordan.
"Listen, I gotta give it to you straight, even if we have all the armies in the world, but none can withstand Prince Leo's chaos weapon," she said.
