There it was.

What they had believed to be a dream come true turned out to be Earth's worst nightmare.

Trevor's machine brought the Collapse of Earth's civilization on.

Their lives as they knew them have ended.

The people they loved, gone.

Marcus, Scarlett, and Trevor, Jordan's colleagues, had received a shocking revelation from the royal family.

They are now in the middle of a war, one between light and dark, one between the nations of Gaia and the evil Onyx.

The gang now thinks about what their next move is.

Marcus paced back and forth, constantly mumbling to himself.

"Marcus, man, calm down," Jordan advised.

Marcus had turned his attention to Trevor, who was smoking a cigarette in his chair.

"Are you seriously telling me to calm down right down?" Marcus asked.

He walked over to the same window as Jordan.

"We're fucked right now!" Marcus screamed.

Marcus sat down in a nearby chair, his sorrows drowning him.

"I fucked our current situation up," Trevor admitted, "but you guys have to see the bright side of things as well."

Trevor attracted the attention of the rest of the gang.

"You can't be serious, Trevor," Scarlett countered. "After all, you're the one who got us into this mess."

Trevor chuckles lightly.

"Need I remind you, Scarlett, you also helped me in the machine's construction?" he replied.

"But it doesn't matter," he said. "We can still make a difference here and become genuine heroes."

Marcus raised his eyebrow.

"There's no fucking way I'm ever going to be a hero with this jackass next to me," he said.

Trevor rose from his chair, his hands flashing with lightning as rage erupted from his soul.

Jordan stood between them, dividing them from one another.

"That's enough," he said.

"This isn't taking us anywhere," Jordan said. "You can either step up and be something better than yourself, or you can sit and wait for someone to save your ass."

The rest of the group fell silent; they had never heard him speak with such force before.

Jordan returned to the throne room, having decided.

He knelt in front of the royal family once more, this time to make a point.

"King Ellis," Jordan said, "I am an accomplished soldier and a well-known military operative, and I believe I can assist you in your conquest."
