Everyone fell silent; no one knew what to say. How can you, after seeing the person you once thought, a brother in arms, a friend, a leader, become the pinnacle of death and destruction.

Atharia, as the Guardians knew it, was under siege.
A sea of flames emanating from people's homes recalls the screams of agony, dread, and death, just like how the Collapse started.

Raffinee, the kingdom's royal advisor and friend to the Guardians, was wounded in saving the Guardians.

He is now in one of the hundred hospital beds, recovering from the blast.

The Guardians are now hiding in an underground Freelancer bunker miles away from Atharia.
These bunkers had once belonged to the refugees of the Collapse when it first started. After Bronius's Reformation, the people did not need these bunkers.

Now the Freelancer's Guild uses it as a staging area for their contracts.

Beaten and broken, the Guardians now plan an assault against Prince Leo.

"This whole situation is fucked!" Finn said. "WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO DO?"
The Freelancers around the room bickered amongst themselves, arguing and debating over who to prioritize more, the weapons or the people.

Their constant yelling and shouting had driven Jordan, who stood at the table, into a fury.

His flames roared out of him, lighting this time blue just like back on the train.

Everyone stood there silent.

"Are you guys seriously arguing right now?! We have a literal Armageddon on our heads!" Jordan yelled.

As Jordan goes to yell some more, he clutches the wound on his side.

Scarlett went to comfort her friend, but Sofia already had the same idea.

"Everyone leave. We'll reconvene with a plan in an hour," Sofia said.

They all listened to her, leaving the room.

Once the door closed behind them, Scarlett's head began to ring.

Dropping to the floor, she screamed in agony.

Trevor noticed this and went to help his friend.

He picked Scarlett up, carrying her into the next room.

The people inside looked as Scarlett began screaming.

Trevor's eyes glowed blue as he saw the people watching. "LEAVE! NOW!" he yelled.

They then ran out of the room, nervous.

Scarlett winced in pain and tossed back and forth, clutching her head as if it were about to explode.

She had then begun receiving flashes of something; a man wearing large armor and a cape walking in a corridor. He turned around to reveal himself to be Prince Leo. The man had built a psychic link between him and Scarlett.

As Prince Leo touched Scarlett, something then encapsulated the entire space in a sheet of ice. Walls and statues became frozen, the floors beneath their feet shattered. Scarlett then fell through the ground and into a dark void.
