POV shift: PearlescentMoon
Pearl woke up with a throbbing headache. She couldn’t recall what happened before she passed out but she identified the base she was in as Hypno’s. She noticed that Gem sat next to the bed she was in, half-sleeping.

“Uh, Gem?” Pearl said with a wheezy voice to catch her attention. Gem looked up with surprise and her whole face lit up as she saw that Pearl was awake.

“You’re awake!” Gem exclaimed.

“Thanks, I already know that,” Pearl commented. “Can you tell me what happened?”

“How much do you remember?” Gem wanted to know.

“I remember the meeting but nothing after that,” Pearl responded. Gem nodded and once again summarized what had happened after the meeting.

“I... I flickered?” Pearl gasped, a scared expression on her face. “Well, that doesn’t sound very human.”

The girls sat quiet for a while until they heard that Xisuma returned. Gem rushed outside and Pearl could hear that they exchanged a couple of words before entering the house. Xisuma examined Pearl with a concerned look and shook his head.

“I’m afraid that my theory might be true,” he sighed, and Gem gasped with horror.

“What?! No, that can’t be true!” Gem said.

“What theory?” Pearl wondered, but she wasn’t sure if she even wanted to know.

“Nothing,” Xisuma answered. “Go to Boatem and hang out with the others for a while. I need to plan this out.”

Gem and Pearl obeyed and they managed to get to Boatem without any trouble. Pearl didn’t like that Xisuma was so secretive, and she had a feeling that things is starting to go way differently than her last life. Oh, who is she trying to fool, of course they were going differently. Nothing, not the meeting, not Hypno freaking out, not her collapsing, none of that happened in her last life. Now there wasn’t not a single mention of war, just pure confusion. Pearl noticed that the amount of lag heavily increased the closer they got to Boatem. When they arrived the lag was at the border of unbearable and Pearl understood it was because all the Hermits were hanging out there, building and doing their own thing. She saw Impulse, Scar and Mumbo in the middle, and they didn’t look to happy with the fact that people were being in their houses. Grian was nowhere to be seen. Gem left Pearl as she approached her fellow Boatem members.

“Hey Pearl!” Impulse greeted her. “Do you know what’s going on? Everyone is basically just a big question mark right now.”

Pearl hesitated before she replied. “Not entirely. Xisuma is very secretive.”

“Is Xisuma secretive?” Mumbo repeated, worry filling his voice. “This can only be bad.”

They spoke to each other for a while, Pearl basically telling them everything she knew about the current situation and they guessed what Xisuma could be hiding.

“He had been mentioning stuff about the rumour before. Maybe his theory was that the facility thing exists?” Scar suggested. “I mean, you flickering, Hypno being terrified of you, it must have some kind of connection.”

“Then once again, his theory could be that Pearl isn’t a human. Hypno claimed her not to be in a state of craziness and both Gem and Hypno claims that she have been flickering. None of that sounds very human,” Mumbo reasoned.

“What am I then?” Pearl wanted to know.

“A pig?” Scar shrugged, earning a slap from Impulse.

Shut. up,” Impulse hissed.

“Ouch,” Scar said while rubbing his chin. “I didn’t mean it!”

“If you’re going to fight again I’m going to kill you,” Pearl threatened them with a soft voice. She was not going through another war again, especially not when all this was going on.

“It’s not my fault Scar said you were a pig!” Impulse defended himself.

“Ayo, calm down you two,” someone shouted from behind. Pearl recognized the voice, but she couldn’t put her finger on who it was.

“I’m kind of worried about Shashwammy. You have any news?” they continued. Alright, it was Keralis.

“Yes,” Mumbo said and told him the whole story that Pearl had told them. Pearl must admit that Mumbo skipped a lot of details and was pretty unclear, probably because he was the third one to retell the story. Keralis nodded and then went back to Joe, TFC and Wels, where they continued their discussion. Pearl decided to go and check her shop, Padllama Co., to see if she had gotten any sales. She was very aware of the situation but who would say no to diamonds? Checking her chests, she saw that she actually had gotten some sales which were kind of a surprise. She cashed out her diamonds, seeing that she had got twenty-three in total. Not too shabby. Pearl just got out of the shop as she heard other Hermits gasping and pointing. Looking up, she saw Xisuma quickly approaching them. He landed in the middle of the crowd, and there was a dead serious expression on his face.

“I have made my decision. We must travel to the Facility.”

A/N:
Why have I been ending my chapters with Xisuma saying a epic thing? Dunno, but I’m back!

I think the biggest mystery in Hermitcraft right now is no, not the random earthquakes, and no, not the big moon, it’s how you pronounce Xisuma’s name. Ex-ee-suma? Ekcs-eye-suma? Sh-ee-suma? Shashwammy? It’s a big mystery, my dear friends. And I’m afraid we’ll never get the answer.

Anyway, remember when I said updates will rain down when I was back? I take that back, I’ve been busy with school and actually having a social life for once :O

Well, don’t really have more things to see here, so yeah, thanks for reading.

Moon’s big.
