Chris POV
"Your a pain Kates, you know that". I said laying on my bed. Me and Katie were hanging out in my room like we always do and she kept bugging me to come meet the new neighbors.
"I don't care, get your lazy butt up and come with me to meet them". She said trying her best to pull me off the bed. "They might have someone around are age".
"Then I'll have to deal with living next to two pains instead of one" I joked and Katie rolled her eyes. If I'm being honest I'm just to lazy to get up right now. She sighed and looked around to try and find something to get me up. She seemed to notice something.
"Well your going to have to meet them" she said hinting at something. I rolled over and propped myself up on my elbows.
"Why"
"Because, they have a boy who's your window neighbor". She said pointing at my window. She had moved so the boy wouldn't see us. I finally decided to sit up.
"So, I have curtains, I'll just cover that window". I said. I wanted to meet him, I just enjoyed annoying Katie to much.
"Stop being a grinch" she complained. "And Anyways, he looks pretty cute and I can tell he's not straight".
"You better not be thinking what I think your thinking" I said knowing what she was thinking. She smiled and shrugged. Then she got an idea.
"If you don't come with me, I'll open your window and yell to the boy over there". She tried to threaten. I sighed and rolled my eyes finally getting up.
"You know, it's hard to be threatening when your short"
"Shut up and I'm not short, I'm 5,6" she defended "let's go meet the neighbors".
"You mean 'let's go annoy there son'"
"Same thing". With that we were out my room and walking to the front door. The house I lived in was one floored but pretty big. (At least for me, my parents, my sister and my dog).
"Where are you two going" my mom asked as Katie opened the front door.
"Meeting the neighbors" Katie said excitedly. My mom sighed and smiled.
"Have fun kids" she said as me and Katie left.
"There's a guy right there" Katie said excitedly.
"There going to think your on crack or something" I joked and she shoved me.
"I'm just exited, unlike you lame ass"
"Yea Yea" I said sarcastically as we walked over.
"Hello, what brings you here" the guy asked while grabbing a box out of his truck. There wasn't a moving van yet so I'd assume it hadn't arrived yet.
"We saw you guys moving in and thought we'd introduce are selves" Katie said. "I'm Katie and this is Chris, he lives next door, and I'm the house across from his". Katie pointed to are houses. The man nodded
"Nice to meet you kiddos" he said and asked. "How old are you two".
"I'm 17 and she's 16" I answered.
"By any chance do you go to North Eastern High" he asked. "One of my kids is around you twos age and he starts going there Monday".
"Yea we do, if he wants he can walk with us in the mornings" Katie said. The man seemed happy.
"If you could, I'd be very thankful". He said seeming happy.
"How olds your other kid" I asked since he said 'one of my kids'.
