Meeting the gang (Chapter 6)

Karl POV

"You sure your ok with this" Chris asked me. We were currently in my room and I was petting my cat with my head rested on Chris's lap. (Katie dropped him off before waking me and Chris up) "I know you said your not the best with people". I nodded.

"Hey, I trust you, if you say there good people, then there good people" I said rolling from my side to my back so I was looking at him. Grey got up and laid on my chest. "And Anyways, I'm pretty sure my moms over the moon that I'm actually talking to people".

"Yea, from the way she sounded, it seemed like you never spoken before". Chris said sarcastically.

"For the record, I really don't talk a whole lot" I said and Chris shrugged and messed up my hair.

"You sure talk a lot with me".

"Well your different" I said and saw Katie walk in.

"Ok love birds, come on the gangs here" she said as me and Chris got up. We walked outside and I saw a black pickup truck. I noticed some people inside plus a taller boy with brown hair in the back part. I'm going to be honest, I felt really nervous.

"You wanna sit in the back with me" Chris asked.

"I've never been in a pickup truck". I admitted as we walked over.

"For one how and two your getting in the back then" Katie asked/said and walked to the passenger seat. There was a blonde girl driving, and in the back seats were a brown haired boy and a black haired girl.

"I lived in Antarctica, it was cold" I said sarcastically and climbed in the back. After I got in Chris climbed in.

"What's with you and being good at climbing" Chris asked sitting down. "First the window, now the truck." I shrugged and sat down across from Chris. The guy next to him shoved him slightly.

"Not even gonna introduce me to your new friend" he joked as the truck started. It felt weird but also really fun when we started driving. Chris smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Can't even wait ten seconds Jim jam" Chris said sarcastically and looked at me. "This is Jimmy, the dumbass I call my best friend" Chris said gesturing to Jimmy. Then he looked at Jimmy. "That is Karl, my new neighbor and friend".

"And the one Katie keeps sayings gonna be your boyfriend". Jimmy joked sarcastically and we laughed.

"Basically, seems you already know me" I joked back and Jimmy nodded.

"Basically, Katie was on speaker with us the entire drive here" Jimmy said. "Like I know she stole your cat last night, that you two had a sleep over, and she found y'all cuddling, she even sent Maddy a picture".

"I swear I delet-" Chris said but then realized. "Fuck, I forgot to delete it from her recently deleted".

"Your an Idiot" I said and Chris rolled his eyes.

"Maybe if you weren't cuddling me. It wouldn't exist" Chris said sarcastically and I went red. Jimmy started laughing at the two of us. I went to say something but the girl driving took a sharp turn, causing me to fly forwards and into Chris.

"Oww" I said pushing myself up. Luckily Chris caught me.

"Guess Maddy finally got to the back roads" Jimmy joked as we flew down the road. I'm guessing the blonde girls Maddy.

"That's your girl for ya" Chris joked as I got off of him. When I did he grabbed my arm and before I could say anything I was jerked again. Jimmy and Chris moved a bit to but i swear I was gonna fall out of this truck. "You should probably sit over here" Chris said helping me sit in the corner, right next to him.

"How do you guys not fly every where" I asked confused once I sat down. We were going straight again so I was fine.

"You hold onto the side when a turn comes up" Jimmy explained, "and you gotta hold on tight".

"I'm not strong enough to" I muttered quietly and only Chris heard me. I don't like admitting it but I'm not strong, like at all. I can climb and stuff like that but when it comes to purely upper body strength I'm fucked.

"What was that" Jimmy asked not hearing me. Before I could attempt to answer Chris spoke.

"I'll make sure you don't go flying alright, just stay sitting there". I nodded and Jimmy looked confused. "He was worried about his hand slipping". He lied and Jimmy believed him. After that we continued talking and joking around.

Chris Pov

"And we're here" Jimmy said once Maddy parked the truck. We were at his house and I stood up getting out and then helped Karl up. Then we hopped out of the back and Chandler got out of the truck. Jimmy walked over to the drivers side to talk to Maddy.

"This is huge" Karl said sounding surprised. Jimmy has a pretty big house (not like a mansion but still huge).

"What never seen a big house before" I joked and Karl pushed me slightly.

"I have but damn" Karl said. Chandler walked over to us.

"Hey, your Karl right" Chandler asked. Karl nodded.

"Yea, and you are" he asked not knowing Chandlers name.

"Chandler" he said and looked at me. "You really didn't tell him my name, I'm hurt" he said sarcastically.

"For the record, I didn't really tell him anyones name" I said. "So far he only knows Jimmy and Katie's name".

"Well I'm guessing that's Maddy" Karl said pointing at Maddy. "I don't know the black haired girls name".

"That's Cara" Chandler said pointing at her. "She's my girlfriend".

"Ok, now I know everyone's name" Karl said and looked at me "you know, why couldn't you just tell me".

"I thought it be better for you to ask" I said shrugging it off. Truth is I forgot to tell him and then just decided he can find them out by asking.

"Still, would of made it easier" Karl said as Jimmy walked over. Maddy had pulled out of the driveway and drove off.

"Ok, so what are we doing today" I asked as Jimmy came over.

"I plan on filming a skit today" he said and looked at Karl. "You ok with that".

"Yea, that sounds fun" Karl said and we all went into Jimmy's house to get ready to film.
