Chris Pov

"You own to much shit" Katie said to Karl. We had finally finished and it was currently 7pm. Katie was sitting on Shawn's bed with grey sleeping in her lap. I seriously think she's going to steel the cat.

"You're the one who wanted to help" Karl said, sorting out some of the stuff on his desk. "But thank you guys for helping, this would of taken me forever".

"I bet it would of, you have a lot of stuff" I said sitting on the ladder. (Karl and Shawn had a bunk bed, Karl was top, Shawn was bottom). Then Shawn came in the room.

"Hey dad said your friends have to leave since it's getting late". He said and sat on his bed, next to Katie and pet grey.

"It's only 7 pm" Katie said slightly confused.

"He has to get up early for work" Shawn said. I hopped off the ladder and looked at Katie.

"Let's go Kates"

"Aww, but the cats comfy"she said gesturing to grey who was on her lap.

"The cat will be fine" I said as she sighed and got up.

"I honestly believe your just friends with me for the cat". Karl joked as Katie walked over to the door.

"I am, grey's adorable" she joked back and I sighed.

"Rude, I'm not letting you over anymore"

"I'll just break in like I plan to tomorrow" Me and Shawn laughed a little at the two.

"Ok crazy, I think that's enough" I said grabbing her hand and pulling her out the room before letting go. "Bye Karl, love you".

"Love you to" he said as I stood in the doorway.

"Gay" Shawn joked and me and Katie started laughing as Karl rolled his eyes at his brother.

"Shut up" he said as me and Katie left. We waved bye to his parents and walked out.

"You definitely like him" Katie said once I shut the door.

"No I don't" I said as we walked down the sidewalk.

"Yea ok, it's soooo obvious". She said as we walked into my house. "I mean come on, you 'acted out' because someone was messing with him, I've known you my whole life, you never do that".

"The bitch was annoying me and being an ass, she wouldn't of left if I didn't do anything" I said as we went into my room. My mom was asleep, my dad was in the shower, and Sarah was outside playing with bubba. I sat on my bed as Katie stayed standing.

"Chris, you've never even done that for me" Katie said walking around my room. "Karl's special to you, I'm telling you, it's a crush".

"Katie I've known him for about three days, I doubt I can form a crush on him"

"Maybe if you met him like a normal person but-" she said and looked dead at me "-YALL HAVE BEEN INSEPARABLE FOR THE LAST THREE DAYS".

"Katie we haven't been inseparable-" I said and she cut me off.

"Chris any moment you could spend with him, you do and vise Versa" Katie said. " you've never and I mean NEVER have clicked with someone that quickly". She sat next to me. "Plus I've seen the looks, the blushing, the subtle flirting, the being protective, just everything". Katie laid down on my bed. I thought about what she said. Maybe she's right. Could that explain what I've felt around Karl lately...
