Chris POV
"This is the small town" I said once we walked past the last two houses. When we walked in we were in the middle of the town.
"This is it" Karl asked excitedly like a kid in a candy store. "It looks awesome".
"It's a town, haven't seen one or something" I joked. He rolled his eyes as he turned to walk down the sidewalk.
"I've seen many small towns before" he defended. "Just this looks so, amazing" he stepped out onto the road and stopped. "I feel like I'm in a Disney movie or something". I laughed and ran over to him.
"Well unlike Disney movies, wondering around alone at night can end badly with no happy ending" I joked and Karl shoved me.
"Rude" he joked and then we laughed. Then he grabbed my hand and pulled me back to the sidewalk. "Show me around now"
"Your a lot more demanding then earlier" I said sarcastically.
"Your a lot ruder then earlier" he said in the same tone back. I rolled my eyes and we started walking. While walking I pointed at every building and told him what it was. By the time we got to the gas station (all the other stores were closed) it was after 10.
"This town has everything" he said surprised "and it's bigger then I thought, how do you call this a 'small town'.
"It feels huge because we're out at night so hardly anyones around and we're walking slow since I'm showing you around" I said. "It normally wouldn't take over an hour to walk though half of the town.
"This is only half" he said shocked as we entered the gas station.
"Yep, your down south, towns are more spread out" I explained. "People who don't live in small towns need to drive forever just to get something as simple as gas".
"That must suck" he said as we walked into the chips isle.
"What snacks do you like" I asked. He shrugged.
"Just get whatever you normally get"
"You have to pick something" I said so he grabbed a bag of Doritos. I grabbed a a few different chip brands and some bags of candy. Then I put them in my backpack (no I'm not steeling them, don't even assume that). "Get something to drink".
"You sure, i don't want you going broke or something" he asked/joked.
"Trust me, I won't go broke, grab a few drinks" I said and he nodded and grabbed some. He grabbed a few monsters, some Mountain Dew, orange Fanta, and Pepsis. "Wow I didn't saw take all there drinks" I joked.
"What, you want me to put some back" he asked with a smile. I shook my head.
"Nope, whatever we don't drink I'll just hide under my bed and drink later".
"Or I'll jump though your window and drink them". He joked as we got up to the cash register.
"I'd like to see you try and open my window" I said sarcastically as I took everything out of my backpack. There was a lot.
"Wow Chris, buying out the whole store again" Cassidy joked. She's Chandlers older sister and has seen me come by here A Lot. Especially when Chandler used to live next door. "And who's the friend, I haven't seen him before". She asked while scanning are items.
"This is Karl, he moved into y'all's old house" I said and then looked at Karl. "That's Cassidy, her family was the one who lived there previously".
"I loved that house, but it was only temporary" she said and joked. "6 people living in that house just didn't fit". Me and Karl laughed slightly.
