"How do I look" Katie asked. We were currently getting ready for prom at her house and as you can tell, she was really exited. "Do you think Riley will like it"
"You could wear a potato sack and she'd like it" I joked and Katie rolled her eyes.
"See, I should of waited until Karl got out the shower, he'd be better help".
"Yea, but you got impatient" I said. Right now Katie was wearing a blue dress with and certain parts were outlined in white and the front was cut in an upside down V and had a white skirt underneath. It honestly looked really good. "Ok but seriously you look pretty Katie, don't worry about it".
"I knoww but I'm going to anyways" she said looking in the mirror, adjusting the dress. Eventually Karl walked in the room only wearing sweat pants.
"I might of left the blow dryer in here" he said awkwardly.
"It's over there, you can blow dry your hair in here" Katie said still fidgeting with the dress.
"If you keep fidgeting with it, you wound get your hair done" I said.
"I know, It's just, missing something" she said and Karl looked over and looked around the room, looking at Katie's closet that was currently opened.
"What about putting that white belt on your waist" Karl suggested, pointing at the belt. Katie went over and grabbed it before putting it on.
"Told you he'd be better help" Katie said and looked in the mirror. "And now it looks better, thanks dum dum"
"No problem" Karl said and turned on the blow dryer.
"You should probably get in the shower now" Katie said loudly since blow dryers are loud.
"I probably should, see you idiots when I'm done" I called back and left her room before heading to her bathroom. I had a little over an hour to get ready.
Karl POV
"Finally, that's loud" Katie joked once I finished blow drying my hair. She had now started to curl her hair as I sat in the bed. "You should probably get dressed you know".
"I'll wait until Chris gets out" I said. Katie doesn't know about the cuts on my leg and right before prom isn't the best time to tell someone.
"I promise I won't look if it makes you uncomfortable" she offered but I shook my head, then she got an idea. "How about I stand outside the room until your done"
"Don't you have to curl your hair" I asked.
"Yea, but it won't take me over an hour to do that" she said and got up. "And I don't want you rushing just because your uncomfortable changing in front of people"
"You sure" I asked as she opened her door and nodded.
"Yep, I'll be standing outside until your done" she said and walked out, shutting the door. I smiled and got up to change. I was wearing a grey suit with a black shirt underneath. I changed into the clothes and told Katie she could come in now. She looked at me and smiled. "You look adorable" and then she sat down to finish her hair.
"You want help" I asked as she struggled to get the back.
"Do you know how to curl hair" she asked and I nodded.
"Yea, I've helped my sister with it a good couple of times"
"Alright then help, curling the back is a pain in the ass" I laughed a bit and got up to help her. "I'm so exited"
"Why, cause you get to see Riley" I asked.
"Well yea, but it's also are first prom and I'm exited to see you and Chris have fun" Katie said and asked. "While Chris isn't in here, can I tell you something"
I was confused but agreed.
