"Did you really have to order all of that?" Thea deadpanned her brother as he ate through three donuts, two blueberry muffins, five chocolate chip cookies and two cups of Frappuccino.

Alex looked up at her and took a glance at Magus who was staring at him and shrugged and went back to eating. Thea sighed and placed her palm on her forehead and of course, the man across her thought that it was very adorable.

"I'm sorry about Alex, I swear he isn't starving at home, I don't know what came over him today"

"It's fine" Magus answered and sipped on his drink.

As much as he wanted it to be only him and Thea, he was also thankful for Alex because he would clearly make everything awkward as soon as they got in their car. Magus may not show it but his mind was in chaos on thinking of what to say next.

"You look great today Magus" Thea commented.

Magus blinked. "What?"

"I said you look nice, did Ely help you with that?" she asked sweetly.

"Oh, uh, yeah, we went out yesterday" he mumbled.

He took a glance to the window beside him to see his reflection. He was in a hurry earlier that he didn't even notice what he was wearing. It was just a simple shirt, black jeans and a denim jacket but it was different from his wardrobe which is 90% hoodies, and 10% suits which was from his Dad.

"You went out to buy your outfit for today?" Thea asked him.

"W-what? N-no, I mean that Ely just thought that-"

"Dork" Alex said in between his munching.

"Did you say something Alex?" Thea asked him.

"Bathroom, I need to use it"

Thea stood up so that Alex could get out of the booth and then he went to the bathroom. When he wasn't in sight, Thea smiled back at Magus and even though Magus has prepared a dozen of topic to use for this kind of situation, they just all vanished and he felt like he was in the presence of something holy.

"So, what's up?" Thea asked him first.

"Huh? Oh, uh, nothing much, My dad's staying home for a week" he sputtered out.

"really? That's great! I haven't seen Mr. Wilson but I do get emails from him when he wants to give flowers to Mrs. Wilson"

"I didn't know that" Magus chuckled. "I guess that explains the flowers around the house"

"I hope you like them though" Thea teased him.

"Of course, they're beautiful" Magus answered.

Thea took a bite of her cookie and sighed at the smell of her surroundings. The slow mellow melody playing in the background of the Café matches the scenery in front of them. She looked back at Magus only to see him staring at her, it made her blush and confused at the same time.

"Is something wrong?" she asked him.

Magus snapped back to reality. "No, I just uh, noticed that you liked the view so much"

"Oh yeah, the forest calms me and I like listening to nature as well" she said.

"Then we could go to the park near here, it's just a couple of minutes away" He suggested. Wanting to spend more time with the girl.

"That would be great! Let's just wait for Ale-"

"Hey guys, I got to go" Alex suddenly appeared.

"What? What's wrong?" Thea asked worriedly. "Do you need to go back to work?"
