11 - Red Carnation

"Thanks for dropping us Mrs. Wilson!" Thea yawned but she still smiled.
"You're welcome sweetie, go inside and rest"
"Alright, have a safe trip back!" Thea waved before going inside their house.
Magus gave Alex a look and the latter nodded back before exchanging goodbye's with his parents. They thought about getting rid of all the plushies or anything that didn't really come from the daycare, just to be sure of Thea's safety.
"You know son, I don't really want to say this but I approve" Mr. Wilson suddenly said.
"What do you mean Dad?"
"I meant having Thea as my daughter in-law" His father stated.
He looked at Elysian who plugged in her earphones and shrugged at him then he glanced at their mother who was giggling in the front seat. He was glad that he didn't tease him like this while Thea was still in the mini bus or else he would've really lose his dignity.
"Whatever Dad" he muttered.
"What? It's true!" His father chuckled. "I think it's finally time for you to meet someone as pure as her"
"Besides, I like her as my sister" Elysian butted in.
Magus threw a pillow at his sister who just laughed at him.
"Is that so Ely? Cause I think I saw you staring at-"
"Hey!" Elysian cutted him off.
"What? Our little girl is staring at who?"
"Elysian!"
"Mom, Dad, calm down, Magus was just kidding" Elysian enunciated the 'Kidding' word and signalled Magus to look at his phone.
Magus looked down and his eyes widened when Elysian sent a picture of Thea and him cuddling while they were asleep. He knew that his sister would use it against him but he didn't know that it would be this adorable.

Shut it so I could send you the others.
He looked up at his sister and shook his head, silently laughing at her childishness.

After their trip, Magus' father went back to work as usual and that means Magus has to go back to training as well. But the training this time was different. Since Thea and Magus has become close after their trip, they always exchange greeting in the morning and have a small talk every night before they go to bed.
Just the thought of hearing Thea's voice again gave Magus enough motivation to finish reading all the reports and the papers that are stacked in his desk. Bane on the other hand, has been noticing these small changes around and he was more than pleased to see that Magus seems to be enjoying himself, he did watch the young man grow up.
"You seem to be in a good mood nowadays sir" Bane commented.
"Well there isn't any reason for me to be in a bad mood" Magus said with a small smile on his face.
Just then, his phone buzzed and it was a message from Thea. His face brightened and a wide grin made its way on his face when he saw the message. It was a picture of Thea in the flower shop grinning at the camera with her brother and her brother's friend in the background.
