8 - Red Camellia

**

"Mrs. Wilson, this is so good, you have to teach me the recipe" Thea said as she took a bite of the barbecue.

"Thank you but I believe that you should ask Magus that one" Mrs. Wilson smiled slyly at her son.

"Magus?"

"Yes, well he was the one who made that recipe and ever since then, it was the recipe that we use for barbecuing"

Thea's eye sparkled as she looked over Magus who was clearly still in a pinch from the kiss on their last date. It was actually funny for Elysian to see her brother act like a teenager, in fact, she hasn't really seen her brother be romantically involved with anyone else. He rejects all blind dates from their parents and he never brings home any girl from school.

"Well Thea, in case you didn't know, my brother takes after Mom's cooking skills and my Dad's business skills as well" Ely nudged Thea.

"Wow, you're really amazing Magus" Thea said.

Magus choked on his barbecue and his sister just snickered at her as he drank water. As much as he liked being paired to Thea, he wasn't really used to compliments. Although he did get a handful of them when he was still studying, it was new to him that his sister's giving out compliments.

"I, on the other hand, took both of their passion, which is painting from my Mom and playing musical instruments from my Dad" Elysian said.

"Really? Then, can you play the violin?"

"Well, not to brag but I could pretty much play anything"

Magus rolled his eyes. Not to brag my ass. He knew that her sister was just waiting for the moment to brag off her skills in which she really should be proud off and as much as Magus wanted to learn atleast one instrument, he just never really saw any connection with them. Besides, his sister's amazing at that and now that she has a friend to talk about herself, Magus isn't worried about her social life anymore.

After a couple more hours of staying beside the riverside, they decided to pack up everything since it was starting to get dark. Magus didn't want the day to end and he wanted to have a talk with Thea. In fact, he wanted to get to know more about her, because aside from everything he heard from his sister, he didn't really know anything yet.

"Okay kids, the night is still young so why don't we stay outside the patio and just smell that fresh air?" Mr. Wilson suggested.

"Honey, that's a great idea" Mrs. Wilson agreed. "Alex, dear, can you get the telescope from the shed? Take Ely with you"

"Again?" Ely grunted. "Why can't Magus do it?"

"That's because I have a task for Magus and Thea" Mrs. Wilson winked at her daughter, hoping that she got the sign.

"Fine" Elysian grumbled and walked to the shed with Alex in tow.

Magus raised an eyebrow at his Mom. He knew that they knew about his happy crush on Thea but he wished that they weren't that obvious. He took a glance at Thea who seemed to be oblivious on what is going on around her. Magus didn't know if he would be amused or frustrated by her innocence.

"What can we do to help Mrs. Wilson?" Thea asked politely.

"Right, you two will be setting up the patio so could you please take the seats and the table there? It's in the other room upstairs"

"Sure!" Thea said and she grabbed Magus' wrists in which the latter flicked off in surprise.

Thea looked at him and tilted her head. How the fuck can she be so fucking cute?
