"dearie, are you sure you should be working right now? I heard what happened from your brother"
"I'm fine Mrs. Garcia, I find this comforting rather than staying in bed all day" she smiled at the old lady.
It has been a week since Max was arrested and she opened the shop three days ago. She didn't want to stay coped up in bed because it would always remind her of what happened. Alex made sure to contact her for almost every hour and Elysian and Magus would stay with her most of the time and she would sleep at their place if Alex would be home late.
"I swear if you're daydreaming about kissing my brother, I'll throw up"
Thea went beet red and her eyes went wide. "Ely!"
"What? Just sayin'" she shrugged. "By the way, what time does Alex come home-"
"I'm here Love" Alex suddenly appeared behind her and snaked his arm around her waist.
Elysian squealed and turned to hug him. "You tease Thea yet you're like a lovesick fool when he's around"
"Whatever brother" Elysian rolled her eyes. "Why are you home early?"
"I missed you" Alex mumbled against her neck.
"Touche" Elysian grinned.
"Get a room you guys, Thea's turning to a rose with you"
Magus circled around the blushing Thea who was watching the two. Magus brushed her cheeks using his thumb which made her look at him. She smiled and leaned into his touch. She would be shy about anything before but now she's getting used to Magus and besides, she didn't know that she would enjoy it this much.
"Hey, I have an idea" Elysian suddenly said. "Why don't we all go out tomorrow?"
"Like a double date?" Thea beamed.
"Exactly!" Elysian grinned. "But we'll make it an overnight trip"
"Sure!" Thea said with glee. "We can go, right Alex?"
"Of course" Alex smiled at his sister.
"Great! Alex, could you come with me to buy some stuff?" Elysian said and linked her arms with Alex.
"As if I have a choice" Alex teased.
After the two went out, Magus pulled Thea and caged her in his arms leaning against the counter and trapping her in the middle.
"M-Magus? What's wrong?"
"Where did you learn that word?" he leaned.
"What w-word?"
"Double Date" Magus clipped.
Thea giggled. "I read it from the magazine-"
"Baby, you really need to stop learning from those" Magus groaned.
"Why? That's how I proposed to you right?"
Magus' eyes went wide and he hid his face behind his hand. "You're turning red Magus"
"Yeah, give me a sec" he mumbled. "You should really stop reading tho-"
Thea leaned in and gave him a peck on the cheek. "Clean up for me will you? I'll wait for you upstairs"
After Thea went up, Magus stood there frozen, trying to process what was happening.
"I seriously need to hide those magazines"

"Alright kids, I want my mini bus back in one piece alright?" Mrs. Wilson reminded. "And Elysian?"
