"Is she okay? How is she? Did you see that fucker's face-"

"Magus" Alex cutted off his rambling. "Let's go inside first"

After Magus read the message, he took a quick shower and drove all the way to Thea's. He was so worried that he didn't even have time to eat lunch since he woke up pretty late in the afternoon. When he got to Thea's, he noticed that the shop was closed and Alex was outside wearing his casual clothes waiting for him.

"She's fine, she was shaking when I got to her and as she said, there was this weird guy around her but he ran off when I came" Alex answered him.

Magus went silent. "Where is she?"

"That's the problem" Alex started. "She hasn't come out of her room since last night and she didn't even eat breakfast and for the first time, she said that she wasn't in the mood to open up the shop"

Magus bit his lip. "H-How about Ely? Have you tried asking her if she could-"

"I asked Ely if she could come here but she said that it would be better if it was you"

Magus stayed silent. He silently thanked Ely for that, and right on cue, his phone buzzed and it was a message from his sister.

From: Elysian

Hey dear brother, I told Alex to talk to you about Thea instead of me. She probably needs you more than me and even though I don't really want to, I'll go and 'distract' the pest in the house so she won't go there.

Hug Thea for me :>

After sending her a message of thanks, Alex stood up and grabbed a bag which looks like a camping bag.

"Are you going somewhere?" Magus asked.

"Yeah, my team will be out of town for two days for an operation and this is where you come in" Alex said.

"What do you mean?"

"I want you to stay with Thea" Alex said. "As much as I hate to admit, you're the only one that I could trust around her, safety wise"

Magus scoffed. "I was about to ask you if you could take her to your house but with her not getting out of her room, I don't think that would be possible"

"Right" Magus said.

"Well, here's an extra key, Thea and I have one and it's just right that you have one as well" Alex handed him a key with a flower keychain.

"I'll be off then" Alex said and patted his shoulder. "Don't touch my sister Magus, I can easily put a bullet in your body and get away with it"

Magus gulped and nodded. He wasn't dumb to know what Alex meant but at the same time, he felt relieved that Alex knew that he was a capable guy and entrust his beloved sister to him. Alex looked at him in the eye and went out of the shop. He saluted at Alex and the latter just grinned and saluted back.

After he left, the shop was quiet. It was deafening kind of quite. He looked at the door that opened up to a stairs for their rooms and he took in a deep breath before stepping in. He felt weird entering their house even if he has permission. As he was going up, he heard sobbing and he became alert and ran to the noise.

"T-Thea?" he said softly on the pastel pink door.

The sobbing stopped and he heard soft thumps against the wooden floor. "M-Magus?"

He sighed in relief to hear her voice. "Yeah, it's me"

The door creaked open and Thea poked her head. Magus' heart clenched when he saw how red her eyes and nose was. She must've been crying all night. she sniffled and her nose crunched up, although it looked adorable, Magus' was hurting and blaming himself for Thea's state.
