As JJ had now decided to drive the campervan for the time being, the teenagers found themselves sitting together inside, driving through a trailer park. Parking outside of Barry's trailer house, the group took notice of how messy it was and how much it smelled like weed. Telling them he'd be back, JJ hops out of the car, slamming the door behind him and stomping to Barry's trailer house.

"Where you going?" John B asks.

"Yo soy justicia." JJ replies not so seriously, walking inside.

The five share glances with one another before the brunette boy let's out a sigh, getting out and following the blonde inside the trailer, trying to talk him out of whatever he was planning on doing. After a minute, the others exit the vehicle as well, anxiously waiting for the other two to come back out. Eventually, JJ stomps out, duffel bag in hand as John B trails behind him.

"Alright, so we're looking at five grand each for reparations for putting us through that bullshit." JJ announces, revealing the wad of cash in his hands.

"So that's what we're doing now? We're robbing drug dealers?" Kie questions, disbelief laced in her tone.

"This Barry guy's gonna find out. And he's gonna come after us." Sarah warns.

Y/n nods. "Yes, he will."

"This is not the time to start wilding out." Pope adds.

"How'd you guys like having a gun pulled on you?" JJ fires back.

John B steps forward. "Relax."

"He had it right here on you, bro." JJ reminds, pointing at the same spot Barry aimed his gun at John B earlier today.

"Look. We've gotta go get the gold, okay?" John B argues. "Just give me that shit. We're putting it back."

The brunette reaches down, grabbing the duffel bag from the blonde's hands, wanting to go put it back before Barry would find out so then they wouldn't have to deal with him anymore. They didn't need to add Barry to their problems of finding the gold, already. This didn't sit right with JJ grabbed the boy's collar roughly, pinning him to the side of the campervan.

"Do you feel like a tough guy? Huh? What are you gonna do when he comes for us?" John B hisses.

"We punch him in the throat." JJ replies, voice full of confidence.

"Yeah, good fucking idea, JJ." John B says with sarcasm.

JJ shakes his head. "I'm not putting it back."

Roughly grabbing the duffel bag from his best friend's hands, the blonde hops back into the campervan, seating himself down and waiting for his friends to join him. When they don't, he calls to them but they still don't move a muscle, only staring at him. Letting out a sigh beneath his breath, he climbs back out, facing them.

"What?" JJ asks.

John B glares at him, stepping forward. "We're sick of your shit."

JJ raises a brow, scoffing. "Oh, my shit?"

John B nods. "Yeah. Yeah. Your shit."

"Your pulling guns on people shit." Kie agrees.

"You acting like a freaking maniac--" Y/n adds.

"Okay, Y/n, I took the fall for you!" JJ exclaims, speaking over her, getting frustrated with all of this. "Do you know how much money I owe because of you?"

"I'm gonna pay you back, and I didn't even ask you to do that!" Y/n reminds, raising her voice.

JJ steps closer to her. "I just did! Pay it back. Right here, right now, by myself. You know what? That's exactly what I'm gonna do. Go off by myself."

The others watch as he grabs his bag and walks off, not even glancing back at them. Calling out for his name, Y/n steps forward to follow after him but both Pope and John B place a hand on each of her shoulders, stopping her from doing so. Taking one last glance at the blonde, Y/n follows the others into the campervan.

In the Wreck, the five sat around at a table, Y/n being the only one standing as she looked out the window, back facing her friends and her brother. All of them, even Sarah, were worried for the Maybank boy, hoping he wouldn't get himself into too much trouble. Pope took glances at his twin, knowing she still felt incredibly guilty for what happened when she almost got arrested but he took her place.

"Look, he'll come around, alright? It's... He's doing a JJ thing." John B reassures, trying to cheer them all up, especially Y/n.

"You think he'll go home?" Kie questions.

"There's about a zero percent chance that JJ goes home." Y/n states, knowing what his home was like.

John B glances at his girlfriend. "You okay?"

Sarah nods. "Yeah. Are you?"

John B shrugs. "I mean, I'm in one piece, so..."

Pope let's out a sigh. "Okay. It's too dangerous to pawn this thing off piecemeal. So our best bet is to go down there and get the rest of it. Bring it all up at once. Put it in a safe or a vault or something. I don't know. Just until we can find someone who won't rip us off. Y/n and I can figure it out tonight, get it done, and we can be out there as early as tomorrow morning."

"Alright, let's do it." John B agrees, nodding.

"What about that thing with my dad?" Sarah reminds as she looks at her boyfriend.

"Shit." John B whispers, looking down.

"What thing?" Y/n asks, joining her brother's side.

"I have to go fishing with Ward." John B reveals.

Kie raises a brow. "You can't get four hundred mil cause you're gonna go kill fish?"

"Look, I have to go." John B insists.

"Blow it off." Pope demands. "It's four hundred million in gold!"

"Make something up!" Y/n adds.

"Look, I have to, okay?" John B repeats. "He... he saved me, alright? And if it weren't for Ward, I'd be in foster care. So... I have to go. Plus, it'll be better to do it at night. Right?"

For a couple seconds, the couple watch as the Heyward twins and Kie share glances before looking at the brunette who had been waiting for an answer. They wished they knew this before hand so they could plan something ahead, or they wished he didn't have to go at all to make this easier, but of course, nothing was ever easy.

"Fine. Fine, go fishing." Y/n gives in.

"And at least JJ will probably have washed up by then." Kie adds.
