🍡Hello, everyone! I wanted to say thank you to the person who voted on my story. It means a lot since this is my first story. Thank you so much!🍡

Lila's POV

3:34 pm

Marinette walked out of the park succeeding at not glancing at me. I kind of hated when she pretended like she didn't really care about me, even though I know for a fact she doesn't. I decided to pretend like I didn't care either, which I didn't, of course.

I laughed at my previous joke about Adrien. I mean, I really was not wrong! I think I can perfectly act out the last conversation I had with him: "Hi, Adrien! "Hi, Lila." "I like your shirt." "Thanks! My father gave it to me." "Uh, huh. I like your scarf." "Thanks! My father gave it to me." "You're welcome. Sooo... how's fencing?" "Good." "Cool." Conversation comes to an end. Are you fucking kidding me? He's so insanely boring but he has girls outside his mansion every single goddamn waiting to run after the car he goes to school in. Trust me, I took a different route to school once passing his house and I will never go that way again unless I want to get crushed by a stampede. I've heard rumors that his bodyguard got sued once because he ran over a girl trying to get on top of Adrien's limo.

I'm not sure that Marinette is apart of that stampede, but if she was, I wouldn't be surprised. Oh god, what does she see in him? I know I sound like I'm in some kind of romantic comedy, but seriously.

I looked around at the park on a peaceful but rather cloudy. Mr. Ramier was feeding his pigeons Anna, Rhubarb, and Jackson, a man with a bald head was selling popcorn to a couple of kids, Kagami was sitting down on a bench, Mr. Banana-

Wait, Kagami?

I made over to the bench Kagami was sitting at. He was with a boy with black hair that faded into teal and no eyelashes for some reason.

"Hey, Lila, this is Luka," Kagami said. He narrowed his no eyelash eyes.

"Wait a minute, Lila? Marinette has told me all about you," Luka said. I rolled my eyes. Remember when I told you this guy was supposed to be in love with Marinette? Yeah, apparently I wasn't kidding.

Kagami gave me a sympathetic look. "Luka, this is Lila. She's pretty cool when you get to know her," she said and I noticed Luka didn't like the fact that she used the word 'when' instead of 'if'. I personally think considering Luka's attitude towards me, 'if' was a better fit.

"I'm gonna get going," I said awkwardly. I did have to cook dinner and have it ready by six.

"Who don't you come with us?" Kagami asks. "We're having a sleepover tonight and it would be cool if you came." I thought about the offer. Luka didn't seem to like me very much, but I didn't really have anything to do this evening...

"Sure, why not?" I answered triggering a disappointed expression from Luka. "Let me get my stuff from my house first. It's right over there, actually." I pointed to one of many balconies on a close apartment building. My balcony had a potted plant on the railing and a picnic blanket the color of a lesbian flag on cocaine hanging over the streets below.

"Sounds good, we'll wait outside," Kagami replied. As I walked away from them and towards my house, I heard them talking.

"Are we sure about this?" Luka's voice questioned.

"Look, Luka, you should give Lila a chance. I mean, look at it this way: Lila spends a lot of time with Adrien and Marinette gets jealous easily. Don't you think that Marinette could've been exaggerating when she told you about how horrible Lila was?" Kagami's reasoning was convincing enough for Luka to shut up reluctantly.

-Time skip to 8: 16 pm-

The sleepover was more fun than I thought it would be. We spent our time making fun of the Ladybug and Chat Noir 2 movie. Kagami and Luka showed me all the grammatical errors and just plain ignorance shoved in the crack and corners. I've never seen an animated character whitewashed so much before watching this movie.

"Hey guys, want to play truth or dare?" Kagami asked and we both agreed.

"I'll start," she said. "Luka, truth or dare."

"Truth," he answered. "Who do you like?"

"Never mind," he said laughing. "Truth!"

"That's not how the game works, but okay," Kagami said giggling. "Do you ship Ladynoir?"

Luka thought for a long time before he answered. "No," he said. "I think they would make a really cute couple if Ladybug liked him too, but it's weird to me how many times she has to tell him no that I feel like it's kind of... creepy."

"That's how I feel," I answered. "If they worked together, Chat Noir would not have had to ask 32489 times." Luka nodded.

"Truth or dare, Lila?" Luka asked.

"Uhh, truth," I said ironically. When playing Truth or Dare, I like to call it Lie or Dare because that's honestly how I treat it. Well, not really. It's not Lie or Dare if I call it that to other people.

"What do you think of Marinette?" Luka asked. I thought for a minute.

"Okay, first of all, terrible taste in guys. She's actually really cute, but let's just say she doesn't like me much," I laughed. Luka's facial expression told me that my answer was acceptable.

We talked and laughed and watched more Ladybug and Chat Noir 2 unaware of the danger awaiting Paris.
