Hi guys (and @AngelicMuffin2)! Guess what?...

No seriously, guess.

Have you guessed yet?

I'm doing what the miraculous writers were too much of cowards to do: give Chloe a redemption arc. I've got everything planned out and I read an article with advice on how to write one properly. So, yay!

Alright, on with the story.

(Also, I just wanted to clarify that in this book, Sabrina has never taken part in making fun of anyone with Chloe at all.)

(By the way, thank you @HopeFul_Fox for supporting and complimenting my story, it means a lot! A huge thanks to @kAtU93MM96MYu for reading and commenting on all of my latest chapters!)

Ok, now on with the story!

Lila's POV

9:45

Today's the day the plan unfold, the plan to prevent myself from getting expelled from school and banned from Paris. It's Thursday, when Chloe's supposed to talk to her dad about booting me from the city.

I'm not sure what Chloe will tell her dad to get me banished, but something tells me it'll be along the lines of something like, for example, I crashed her car and perhaps destroyed one of her many Chanel purses. Something that only Andre, the king of pushovers, would take as a reasonable excuse to ban someone his daughter doesn't like from Paris.

Speaking of Chloe, she, who was sitting at the adjacent table to mine in the cafeteria, ordered Sabrina to fetch her gourmet lunch from the limo. (I know, just hearing those words makes me envious of her endless wealth, too.) Sabrina got up from the table and walked to the exit of the lunch room, but her obedient little skip she always did when she was pampering Chloe was absent in her walk. It was pretty hard to believe that Chloe pissed Sabrina off by well, being Chloe, when she acts like a dick to Sabrina constantly.

I mean, what I'm trying to say is, Sabrina has been putting up with Chloe's BS for years, and suddenly she's fed up? It just...doesn't seem likely.

"Lila? You okay?" Marinette asked me while chewing a jelly donut. I could have said the same to her, since she's been acting weird this morning, just like she knew something.

Just I like I did.

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine," I said while alleviating Marinette's worry. She looked me with a questioning look that I couldn't lie to, so I told her what was on my mind.

"I just saw Sabrina follow one of Chloe's orders, but she seemed reluctant. I just, well, find it strange," I confessed. Marinette's sky blue eyes summoned gray gloomy clouds to block her irises.

"You've been acting strange today," I pointed out worriedly, letting go the thoughts I've been nurturing since the day started. She flinched but lowered her voice to a low whisper.

"Lila, there's something I need to tell you," she said quietly, and dragged me to the corner of the cafeteria close to an empty table.

"Today I saw Sabrina get mad at Chloe because of..well..." Marinette whispered. I tilted my head to the side.

"What did Sabrina get mad at her for?" I asked. Marinette's voice softened again.

"Chloe wanted Sabrina to frame you for bullying some kid to get you expelled," she said quietly. "I guess Sabrina just...had enough."

"So she chose not to?" I asked. "That means that they aren't friends anymore, right?"

Marinette made a "maybe" motion with her hand. "Eh, you know how some duos are. They fight, get back, fight get back, fight...what I'm saying is, we can't count on it." I shrugged.

"I suppose so, but this is their very first fight, and Sabrina actually sticking up for herself means something's about to change, right?"

The mayor sat on his comfortable office chair doing some paperwork. The sunlight graced the room with its presence as it shined in through the windows. Chloe walked in the room loudly, announcing her arrival in the grand office.

"Daddy, listen at once! There's this girl, Lila, and I saw her bully a kid at school," Chloe whined, stamping her expensive heels on the luxurious carpet. "You have to expel her!"

Mayor Bourgeois raised his thin eyebrows higher on the forehead of his pear shaped face. "I'll get to it at once, sweetie. Now, how about-" He was interrupted by the slam of his office door. He sighed hopelessly and continued typing at his computer.

"Now," Ladybug whispered to me. We were spying on Mayor Bourgeois from his office balcony while looking in through the window.

"Mirage," I said, facing the door Chloe walked through. I moved my hands symmetrically while concentrating on what I was creating and picturing her honey blonde bob cut and pearl necklace.

Audrey Bourgeois strutted into her husband's office a bit more extravagantly than usual. There was something a bit off about her eyes, however. They looked boring and unexceptional unlike the usual Audrey, but the mayor didn't seem to notice.

"Hello, my darling!" Andre said happily. He got up from his office chair and threw his arms around his wife. Instead of pulling away, she stood there awkwardly while dripping from Andre's affection for a moment before hugging him as well. She gave him a quick, dry kiss and looked him in his calm gray eyes.

"I just found my new fashion apprentice: Lila Rossi," Audrey informed. "I know our daughter wants to expel her, but don't...please." Andre's eyes widened at the sound of Audrey using the one word that he thought wasn't in her vocabulary since forever, but he nodded, fortunately choosing Audrey's word over Chloe's.

"Victory!" Ladybug said while giving me a huge high-five.
