🌸This chapter is pretty short, but there will be a part two to this one coming out. Hopefully I will make it soon, but I do have to finish my schoolwork and self-care first. Also thank you all so much for all the support and views.🌸
Marinette's POV
1:50 pm
"Tikki, spots on!"
A refreshing, strengthening wave of rosy pink light drenched my clothes and left me with my all-too-familiar red suit with black spots. I took the miraculous of the fox and gave it to Lila, whos brilliant emerald eyes dazzled with delight.
"Ready?" I asked my girlfriend, who nodded enthusiastically.
"Trixx, let's pounce!" Orange sparkles doused Lila and then revealed her fox-themed supersuit. She held her complimentary orange flute in her white gloved hand. "Now, let's go defeat Sabrina!" She playfully jumped out the bathroom window into the decorative thorn bushes that lined the perimeter of the school building.
"Oww," she said weakly. I chuckled, then went out the proper way through the door outside and helped her out.
"Don't worry," she said as I helped her up from the bramble. "I feel better now. It must be my miraculous."
"Hey, Bugaboo! I see you've brought a friend!" Chat Noir leaped like a sneaky black cat in the night down to us. Volpina glared at him so fiercely it was hilarious how much hatred was in her stare.
"Yeah, I'm Volpina, not just 'a friend'," Volpina said snarkily. I shot her a disapproving look and she gave me an ashamed look in return.
"I mean- yup, I'm Volpina. We've met before," Volpina said hastily. She reached out her hand for Chat Noir to shake in the blink of an eye. Chat Noir, although a little taken aback by her sudden change in attitude, shook her hand in return awkwardly.
"We've got a villain to fight," I interrupted. Volpina and Chat Noir took their hands back to their sides in an instant.
The three of us followed the distant screaming until we reached the street next to the Bourgeois Luxury Hotel. A man with a bright green yoyo and two women in pretty designer dresses screamed and ran from the supervillain who was rather busy obliterating cars parked on the street next to the hotel. She stopped at a bright pink Ferrari with golden crown accents and smashed it with her bare hands furiously.
"Hey, Sabrina!" Volpina shouted bravely. "Take your hands right off that poor woman!" Sabrina turned her head towards us, forgetting about the blonde teenager girl with a Gucci handbag she was strangling. She eventually let go of her and gave us an despicable grin.
"My name is NOT SABRINA ANYMORE!" Not-Sabrina shot a pretty pink beam out of her love heart staff and aimed at Volpina. Volpina dodged it skillfully. "I'm Loveheart!"
"Hey, let's not get too catty here!" Chat Noir jumped over Loveheart's head with his stick and landed behind her. She turned around and knocked the stick out of his hand and reached toward his ring. Volpina pushed her out of the way just in time and reached for her pink bee charm bracelet. Loveheart kicked Volpina off like a little beetle and we were back to square one.
Realizing we were getting nowhere with this battle, I reached my hand up to the sky. "Lucky charm!" I screamed. I got a painting of a majestic fox. "What I am supposed to do with this?" I mumbled. I searched the street, but no ideas came to mind. As I was thinking, Loveheart sent a pink beam in my direction and I was given a one-way ticket to the concrete ground. Slowly everything faded to the romantic red color of a rose.
