Deathday party

"Well if you can't tell the difference between a fire protection and a fire breathing potion..." Penny said

"I mean fire breathing would give me protection from whoever lit me on fire. I'll just see them run away once I start shooting fire from my mouth" Ron argued, you laughed

"Death is the only thing you'll be seeing" Penny said

"That reminds me" Harry spoke up "nearly headless Nick invited us to his deathday party"

"A deathday party?" She said "I bet there aren't many living people who can say they've been to
one of those — it'll be fascinating!"

"Why would anyone want to celebrate the day they died?" said Ron, who was halfway through
his Potions homework. "Sounds dead depressing to me..."

"Ron, crush, not slice" Penny and Hermione both said

"Hey, guys? Is it just me or has malfoy been looking like he's scheming more and more" you say over the rain drops pouring on the windows and the cackling of the fireplace. You made sure no students heard, not that they would pay attention. They were doing homework, except Fred and George who fed a filibuster firework to a salamander they rescued

You sighed. Really not wanting to go to the death party

"Why'd you sign us up too? This is two years we miss the Halloween feast now!" You say

And so... at seven you all walked past the great hall and walked towards the dungeons

"We're missing out on good food again, I promise you no trolls and no party will keep me from the great hall next year!" You say

You followed ghostly lit candles to the party, which gave it an Erie atmosphere

With each step, you all got colder and colder. You then heard what sounded like nails on a chalkboard, which made you cringe

You saw hundreds of translucent people floating around a dance floor to an orchestra of musical saws. The cold did not stop them from dancing either, you wondered if they could somehow feel the black candles, since you could barley feel the heat from them

"Shall we have a look around?" Harry suggested

"Careful not to walk through anyone" ron said nervously

You then walked around the dance floor, seeing many dead people, including the fat friar, the bloody baron and then—
