Jungkook opened the door with a subtle yet surprised expression, eyes glistening in delight at the mere sight of your figure standing there before him at his front door.
"Well, didn't expect you to visit. Come in."
Your heart full, you walked by him with a smile, taking your shoes off by the front entrance.
"Well, I figured you'd want to be the first to know that I've finally finished my exams."
"Wow, already? I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but you seem to always have that effect." Your smile widened at his words.
"You think you did well?"
A sigh escaped you. "I hope."
"I'm sure you did splendidly." He made his way towards the kitchen and you followed close behind him, your eyes examining the interior of the place as he fixed you a glass of water.
"So, now that you've finished this semester,
do you have any plans to celebrate?"
You gave it a thought. "No, actually...
I haven't."
His brows furrowed in slight perplexion. "Really? No parties or get-togethers?"
"Not as far as I know."
"Hmm, maybe some downtime might be best then. All of you deserve it. Truth be told, I couldn't have asked for better students.
I must say though, I'm proud of everything you've achieved this year. You showed such great improvement in such little time. And next year, I assume you'll be just as determined."
You stared at him for a brief moment, your eyes filled with longing and gratitude.
"I wouldn't doubt it."
He grinned.
"Anyway, what did you want to talk about."
You sat across from him while he remained standing behind the kitchen counter.
Resting your cheek against your palm,
you spoke with breaking eye contact,
"I just wanted to see you." And that was the truth at its barest.
You watched in amusement as he swallowed hard, clearing his throat while averting his gaze.
"I said, we shouldn't show skinship at university. Even if we're alone like this."
"But it's tempting, isn't it? Not following the rules?"
Your eyes met and instead of seeing a flustered expression, you saw something dark and raw and desirable, the corners of his lips shifting into a smirk.
"Of course it's tempting. You've known exactly how to tempt me all this time." He said in a deepened tone as he walked around the counter, stopping once his body towered over yours.
"I'm happy to know you came here just to see me. But employing caution, exercising restraint?" He scoffed and let out a low chuckle... trapping you between his arms.
"You flirt with breaking the rules, enticed by the adrenaline it gives you."
Your breath caught in your throat as he leaned in, shamelessly eyeing your lips.
"As am I." He whispered.
"Jungkook..." you began, but he didn't have to answer because he was kissing you, his lips brushing softly against yours, the barest whisper, before settling more firm and passionate.
