"We have a few matters to discuss, but then how would you like to spend your last day on Midgard?"

Dread seized her. "Last day?"

"Of course, the collar works. I see no reason to linger any longer in this awful realm, we will leave for Asgard in the morning. So, last chance, anything you'd like to do or eat today? Pizza perhaps?"

"I take it you don't have pizza on Asgard then? I'll have a margarita pizza and a mixed box of Dunkin Donuts. Oh and a pumpkin spiced latte."

"Anything else I can get for you? That's not a lot of food for a full day."

She didn't know what else to ask for, the pressure of picking a final meal overwhelming her. "I don't know, I'm sure more will come to me," she answered quietly.

Loki sensed her change in mood but pressed on, filling their coffee cups with a wave of his hand and placing a thick book on the table. She frowned as she read the title.

"You need a proper name, you cannot walk around Asgard calling yourself Agent A" he said firmly, opening the book at the first page of girl's names.

He started reading names out, watching her reactions closely. She pulled a face at his first few suggestions, unable to imagine any of them really belonging to her. He sighed and fell silent, flipping through the pages thoughtfully.

"Annalise?"

She paused for a moment, rolling the name around in her mind. She definitely liked how it flowed.

"It suits you."

"I like it."

Loki smiled, "It's settled then. Lady Annalise, tomorrow we head to Asgard." He stood and reached for her hand, leading her gently into the bedroom.

"I thought there was more to discuss?"

"It can wait," he turned and brushed a few strands of hair out of her face. "But for now, you need to rest. You look worn out."

"I wonder why," she smiled at the memory.

He chuckled. "Well if you want a repeat of that, or anything else this evening, you should do as you're told and lie down."

She stripped off quickly and dived under the covers. He watched her, shoulders shaking with silent laughter. "it's good to see you haven't forgotten how to be obedient, even if you didn't quite follow my instructions while I was away." He sat down on the edge of the bed and rested his hand on her shoulder.

She felt her eyelids getting heavy and she fought to stay awake, but his magic pulled her under before she could put up a real fight.

Loki watched her sleep for a few moments longer, marvelling at how much easier it was when he had full control of her. His thoughts drifted to what would happen to her in the days ahead and he quickly left the room to plan their journey.
