Elliot's POV
I was meant to go to the Club on Friday but Sim got food poisoning on Thursday and was still feeling really shitty and I felt so bad for him. He hardly ever gets sick but he was knocked out so I stayed at home so he wasn't alone. We ended up having a bit of a movie night which was really nice. We're both really busy with work and then we spend most of our weekend at the Club but it's not often just the two of us much anymore. We also ended up having a pretty deep chat about life and how we were both doing mentally, emotionally and physically. I guess it was a sort of check-in into what was actually going on like physically, emotionally and mentally. "Everyone's getting in contacts or relationships" he commented offhandedly. "Like the last couple of months, it seems like everyone's got together. I'm happy for all of them. Like genuinely really happy for them but I guess it just makes me sad because I'm not you know."
"Do you actually want one though? I mean you'd pretty much sworn off relationships after-" he cut me off before I could finish my sentence.
"I know El, it's just seeing all my friends in relationships makes me want one you know," he shrugged tucking his legs under his body.
"What about Master Nathaniel?" I suggested.
"What about Master Nathaniel?" He asked confused.
"He obviously likes you, Sim,"
"Well yeah but he doesn't do relationships," he shrugged sadly.
"Oh, I didn't know." Sim just smiled a little, he then laughed to himself and leant closer to me.
"I could always just ask Oli and Ro if they want to add a third," he smirked. I laughed and nodded.
"Yes do it, you'd all look cute together," he laughed and sat back.
"Nah I could never, I'm too jealous. If I could I absolutely would though."
"Yeah, me too,"
"Could you? Like genuinely could you be in a relationship like theirs?" He asked me. I thought for a moment. I've never really been against an open relationship. As long as it's consensual and like we're both into it.
"I think so, I'd need to find the right person or people but yeah I think I could be in an open or like multiple person relationship," I forgot the word that meant being with multiple people. I hugged a pillow as I said this.
"I didn't know you were poly." Polyamory that was it.
"I'm not going to seek it out but like if the right people come along why not? It's more love for me I guess."
"Huh. I totally see that for you, El." He smiled and thought for a second. "Imagine having to decide on what takeaway you're going to have when you're in a relationship like that though. I would scream. It's bad enough deciding on one for us two."
"It's tv shows for me. How frustrating would that be? Like imagine you want to catch up on a show but you're watching it all together and you're schedules just don't add up I'd cry."
The club opens early on a Saturday when there is a market day on so we could go from 5 onwards. That meant that at 9 o'clock our alarms started blaring because Alex had convinced us to get up early to go last-minute costume shopping with Tommy and Robin. "Did you get out of working tonight? I thought all clubmissives worked market days." Sim asked Alex and Tommy as he was sat on our kitchen counter.
"I am working, I'm on the first shift bar but I'm not really needed until 4."
"I'm doing a demonstration and doing a talk about looking after yourself as a sex worker," Alex smiled.
