Master Nathaniel's voice alone was more than enough to convince me to go with him to collect the drinks. I turned back and winked at Eli who watched me follow the Dom. He smirked at me. He's done really well tonight. I'm actually really proud of him. He's talking to people without needing prompting. That's a big thing for him. I could tell the alcohol was beginning to affect him because he was so willing to speak. He's not a big drinker but still, nothing really bad comes of his drinking, he gets overly emotional but that's it. He's probably inwardly panicking about drinking too much and causing a scene but that's unlikely. The most he would do is cry or maybe have a panic attack. I know he doesn't like people to see him cry especially people he doesn't even know and he definitely does not want people to see his panic attacks. I mean why would anyone want people to witness their panic attacks. Well, that doesn't matter what matters is that Eli is settling in well in the club, he has friends and is comfortable with the Doms.

"Is everything alright, Little one? You're usually so talkative" Master Nathaniel placed his hand on my lower back as he guided me through the crowd.

"I'm fine, sorry sir. I was thinking about Eli" I told him.

"How is he adapting?"

"Very well actually. He's becoming more confident in himself here. I can tell. It will take more time though. Like I don't see him coming into his own until after he's fully trained" I tell him.

"That's understandable, once he feels comfortable in himself as a submissive then the confidence will come" Master Nathaniel agreed with me.

"It's like I said submission will be good for him. Find the right Dom and he'll be like himself in no time."

"And who do you think the right dominant is?"

I had thought about this before he had even said yes to coming along to Checkmate, I had been scoping out which Doms would work with him since I joined. It's a fun little hobby that I have when I'm bored. I know a lot about what Doms like depending on who they scene with most frequently, subs are the same. Most have a type, some just scene with anyone, like me, I've scened with a lot of these men mostly out of curiosity, I have a type yeah but it's pretty loose and if someone interests me whether it be by looks, reviews or flirting I'd want to see what they're like.

I would never admit this to any of the Doms but I keep a checklist of who's slept with who, only to see if my assumptions are correct. I've learnt some fun things through it like how Master Harrison only scened with submissive's taller than him, he's now in a contract with Daichi who is taller than him. He's one of the shortest doms at about 5'6. Daichi is, I think, the tallest submissive in the club at 5'9. Come to think of it I think Eli is our smallest sub at 5'4 or maybe that's Cam, he's pretty short too, I'm not sure his exact height. The tallest Dom is probably either Warwick or Edward they're easily 6'3/6'4.

Hight alone is not enough to say whether they'd be good enough for Eli or not. It all depends on compatibility. There are some Doms I know are just not his type based on visuals alone like Master Darren, Elliot doesn't like facial hair or much body hair at all. He does have a thing for blondes though like most of his celebrity crushes are blonde. They have to be taller than him and strong too. He loves being picked up and cuddled but he's always worried that he's too big to get proper cuddles. He's shy, sensitive and emotional but when you get to know him he's opinionated, quick-witted and whiny. He needs someone smart who can keep up with him, someone talkative because he's not very good at holding conversations, someone sensitive who takes care of him.

"I've got a few in mind," I tell the dominant shrugging. He raised an eyebrow as we reached the bar.

"I think someone like Master Janus, Master Gabriel or maybe even like Master Warwick or Master Edward. He's got a thing for blondes plus they're not overly sadistic. He does think Master Thomas is hot though I just don't think they'd..." realising what I just said I stopped myself. Shit, I didn't mean to tell him that. Telling our friends is one thing but it's for him to tell dominants not me. I need to start thinking before I just start talking. Sometimes the words just fall out before I can even realise what I'm saying.
