It was the next day after Kakashi and I's kiss, after that he stayed with me in the hospital room and crawled into bed with me when I ordered him to.
I could hear Naruto beside me sniffling and I was just wanting to turn around and hold him, but I decided to play a trick, I opened one golden eye to see that Kakashi was awake and had his mask back on, I looked to the heart monitor and then back at him, hoping that he would get the jidst of it.
He gave me a look that said 'that's mean' but silently reached over and unplugged the machine and wrapped his arms around me again before Naruto could notice. It didn't take long for the panic to start.
I pretended to stop breathing as the line went dead, Kakashi jumped up immediately and pretended to revive me while Naruto called out my name and held my hand.
"MOM DONT GO INTO THE LIGHT!!"
I acted like Kakashi revived me as I snapped my eyes open and took a deep breath and Kakashi plugged the machine back in.
"Hi, Naruto, how's it going?" He had tears in his eyes and the normal bright blue hues looked dark as he realized that we pranked him.
"I hate you mom." He sobbed out, i shhhed him as I sat up to bring him into a hug as he sobbed into my bandages chest. Suddenly the doctors rushed in, in a panic. Simultaneously both Kakashi and i's head looked at the doctors astounded face.
"Yo." They anime fell. "was it something I said?"
