Friend Turned Enemy

The Principal's Office:

"So tell me everything, what happened?", asked Mr. Marano, the principal of Lexicon College of Science and Technology. He has been involved with the college for seven years, and it is his eighth year in running.

Mr. Marano questioned Liam and Grant about the fight and how it started. According to the eyewitnesses, it was Liam who came running and punched Grant.

Liam broke his silence and explained everything from the beginning, from the time when he received the letter under his desk.

Knowing what Kiara did in the library, Mr. Marano ordered his personal assistant Mr. Linda call Kiara too.

After some time, Kiara was brought to the office and she was questioned regarding why she did such an act in the library. She explains that she just did what was written in the letter, which she thought was written by Liam.

Liam handed over the crumpled letter to Mr. Marano, who put on his glasses and tried hard reading from the crumbled lines.

Finally, he asked Grant and as Liam and Kiara were honest regarding their answers, he was confused. If he speaks the truth, then he will get in trouble, and now he can't even lie. Without giving the answer, Grant started to roll his tears and started crying, "Please sir, I am not at fault. I just did this for my friend."

"Your friend? Are you sure? Even after telling you not to, you did this shit! Now stop wimping", said Liam angrily.

Mr. Marano came to the conclusion that it was all Grant's fault as he created this chaos. For the punishment, he told all three of them to wait outside his office, and they stood outside.

Grant joined his hands in front of Liam, and said, "Bro, please do something. You know I did what I had to do right? I am silly and stupid, but you are smart. Please help me."

"I can't do anything to save you. I think we all are getting punished anyway", said Liam.

Liam looked at Kiara and said, "And you? What was wrong with you? Just because you saw that written in the letter, you didn't even confirm it? And who does that in the college library?"

"What do I know now?", Kiara stood up. "If I had any idea that it wasn't you, I would have never done it."

"Come inside", called Mr. Linda.

Liam, Kiara, and Grant all stood by the wall with their hands behind them.

"I have decided what I have to do with all three of you", said Mr. Marano as he leaned back on his rotating chair.

"Liam, since your dad is also a trustee of this college, and we can see that you have no-fault. It was just your anger that burned you down. However, I cannot ignore the fact that you started a physical fight. So I will have to give you detention for three days after college".

"But sir, I have work to do after college. How am I supposed to manage my detention?", asked Liam.

"That is not my problem, son. You should have thought about it."

Now, Mr. Marano went to Kiara, and said, "Such kind of obscene activity is not allowed inside my college. So, Ms. Matthews, you will be suspended for one week."

Kiara just closed her eyes and shook her head up and down, because she kind of expected something even worse.

"And about you Mr. Carter. It was all your fault. It was all your game, and looking at your college performances, you aren't even doing good. You got all your focus on these stupid things that your education is just degrading exams by exams. I am so sorry to say this but Mr. Grant Carter, you are expelled from the college."

Hearing this, all three of them were in shock, and Grant had no idea that it just happened. He couldn't control his emotions and started getting down on his knees and started to cry.

"Please sir, don't do this. My parents have a lot of hope for me. Don't do this, sir. If you say, I will beat myself till I bleed, or even clean the whole college. But please sir, don't expel me."

Liam also came forward and said, "Sir, he is just a stupid boy. Punish him as you did to me and Kiara, but please don't expel him."

"I cannot listen to any of you. This is my verdict and you may leave", said Mr. Marano, giving a cold look. "Linda, go write the letter for Mr. Carter."

Liam held Grant and took him outside the office, and just as the three of them stepped outside, Grant pushed Liam and said, "I was a fool to call you my friend. You bastard, I don't need your sympathy anymore", and ran away from there.

Grant went to his class while the teacher was still there, carried his bag, and went out of the room. The teacher was surprised to see one of his students behave that way.

Grant's Dormitory:

Three days have passed and yet Grant hasn't said anything about this to his parents.

As he was watching the view outside the window, with eyes full of tears, he got a call from his dad.

"Hello", answered Grant.

"What happened, son? Is everything okay? Your voice sounds low", asked Henry.

"Nothing dad. I am fine. I am just a bit tired right now."

"Oh, I thought something bad happened."

"No, dad. By the way, why did you call?"

"I just wanted to tell you that I will send the college fee to your bank account tomorrow, so pay it okay? My boss said that the salary would be delayed by two days, but I begged him for you, son."

Listening to that, Grant got more emotional and in a very low voice, he said, "Yes, dad", and cut the call.

He got up from the chair that he was sitting on, and went outside for a walk as he was getting too suffocated inside. He stopped in front of the college and took a look at it. Just at that moment, Liam came out of his car and entered the college gate. Looking at him, Grant got so jealous that he went back to his room.

"I am so gonna take revenge on you, Liam", yelled Grant in his dorm room and he started to punch the pillows on Dave's bed.

When he lifted up the pillow at the corner of Dave's bed, a magazine fell down from inside the pillowcase. He took that magazine and found out that it was actually a gay magazine, and there were a lot of gay porn images inside the magazine. He got shocked looking at that as Dave is straight and he even has a girlfriend.

Yet still, Grant decided to take a look at the magazine and discovered a lot of gay-related terms such as top, bottom, vers, bukkake, frotting, etc. In one of the pages, he saw an article related to revenge porn, and as he was seeking a way to take revenge on Liam, he decided to give it a read.

Revenge porn means leaking explicit or sexual images or videos of someone without their consent, and Grant doesn't have any of Liam's such images or videos. But there was something in that article that he read, and decided to do it to Liam.
