Grant is traveling on the bus and is on his way to El Paso. He doesn't carry his phone as it can track him down, and is covering his face with a scarf and a cap. After a few miles, the bus stops to take a break and everyone gets down. He stays inside so that the dangers can be avoided and waits for the bus to start again. About 20 minutes later, everyone gets back on the bus and it heads forward.

However, trouble arrives again as they reach the checkpoint and the cops are checking for anything suspicious. He was sitting on the third row of the bus and on the window side of the seat, and he quickly pans outside to see how many cops were there. Just then, a few cops get on the bus and start looking around and Grant sweats like rain. The mask and cap cause him to sweat even more from the heat, and he cools down after the cops leave.

The driver turns on the TV and shows the news channel, that are covering Liam's story and keeps on showing Grant's pictures. He starts to panic but acts like he doesn't care and just remains silent while the whole bus is discussing about the case and he could hear people cursing him and saying all the bad things.

"May that devil rot in hell", says an old man sitting next to Grant.

Later, as the news goes on, he see how the reporters have surrounded his house in Greyville and people have started to throw stones and hang banners there, humiliating the entire family. Just then, an ambulance arrives there which is being broadcasted live. The medical professionals go inside and puts Henry on a stretcher and brings him outside. The reporters read that the father of rapist has suffered from a heart attack.

Grant is devastated to learn that and he wants to go back but he can't. He realizes that he has to live in regret all his life.

"You are no son of mine. Surrender yourself", cries Leslie on TV, which further breaks down Grant.

As the bus reaches El Paso, everyone gets down and so does Grant. He is scared to reveal his face as now people may recognize him. Nevertheless, he has to open his face to show to the guards to check his identity. He didn't expect everything to happen that quickly so wasn't prepared. The crowd gets higher and as he moves ahead, he is pushed by some people accidentally. He falls down in front of a teenage girl and do does his cap and scarf comes off. He looks at the girl's face and she recognizes him and starts shouting, "THE RAPIST, THE RAPIST!", and all the eyes are on him now.

Grant quickly grabs the cap and scarf and covers his face, but now the cops there have seen him. They have been informed about Grant by the New York Police Department, as Dave has told them where Grant is going, and also the call on Kiara's phone has been tracked, which leads to Texas.

The cops chases Grant and he quickly makes a run. They race through the streets and he sprints to the bushes to hide behind the trees, but the cops are still hunting him. He runs from there and decides to climb the tree, and he mounts on one. The cops see him and takes out their gun, and aims at him.

"Get down, kid. You are gonna get hurt. There is no escape", says an officer.

Grant is holding on to his dear life on a branch and refuses to get down. Another cop climbs up the tree to get him down, and in consternation jumps from there and he blacks out.

John Quincy Adam Hospital, Queens:

Grant opens his eyes and sees himself being rolled on a wheelchair. Both his legs are fractured and there are injuries all over his arms. He looks behind to see who is pushing him, and is left wide-eyed-open to find Liam doing that.

"Hello, friend", says Liam.

"Where are you taking me, help", yells Grant.

"No one is gonna help you, so shut up."

"Help! Help!", cries Grant in dismay.

Liam brings Grant in a room in basement and locks the door.

"What are you trying to do, Liam?", asks Grant.

"You know how much of pain you have caused me? All these days I have been tortured by you and your minions. I almost lost myself. For what? Answer me, Grant", says Liam.

"I did what I did just to hurt you."

"But why? Why did you wanted to hurt me? For a mistake that you did?"

"I was blind in anger and I didn't know how to react."

"So, you decided to completely fuck me up."

"Liam, please..."

"I could have helped you if you had apologized. You know my dad was a trustee in the college, right? I would have helped you Grant because you were my best friend. Yet you chose to kill me and wreck me up."

"I am sorry, Liam. I am sorry."

"Your sorry won't bring back everything that I have suffered or that my family have suffered."

"You only care about yourself, Liam. You think you are the only one who cares about the family? My dad is in the hospital and I don't know what is happening to him. What happened to your family? No one is dead."

Liam furiously walks towards Grant and punches him.

"Death is not the only answer. Think about what your dad went through when he got to know about you. Think about your mother and your sister. Are you relieved that at least both of them are alive?"

"I fucked up."

"Yes, you did. You did fuck up and now look at you. All crippled and broken. I am so happy to see you in this state because all the skin and bones can be glued again but my mind, the fear that has been filled up in my brain will never. The scar that you have put on your family will never. I want you to remember what you did to me for all your life. I will take my revenge right here and right now."
