Liam's House, Brooklyn:
"Honey, what are you doing?", asks Darien sitting at the dining table with Linda.
"Just searching for the lawyer's number. I don't know where I have kept it", says Amber.
"Lawyer for what? In this case? Aren't we doing too much already?"
"The criminal has still not been found and I won't just stop right now. Officer Fraser has quit but I am pretty sure there will be other officers to carry this work."
"But Liam doesn't want to say anything. I mean, he is already in an almost proper condition yet he hasn't uttered a single word. So, doesn't that mean he doesn't want to speak?"
"I know it is difficult for him but he cannot just stay like this forever. What if the criminals does this to someone else?"
"That is their problem and we don't have to worry about it."
"We don't have to worry about it? Yeah, you are one delusional man", says Amber as she is searching the lawyer's business card among the stack. "Got it."
She leaves with the card and the phone giving a slanted look to Darien.
Darien takes out his phone and clicks a picture of Linda. He turns on the front camera and goes to take a video with Linda saying, "Hola, can you say hola?"
"Hola", says Linda.
"Hola, mama. Say mama."
"Hola, mama", says Linda and Darien stops recording.
Yulian's Office:
Liam follows Nelly and sees her running down the corridor.
"Stop", yells Liam.
Everyone looks at them and Nelly gets nervous as all eyes are on her. She walks towards Liam and says, "Can we talk in private?"
She takes him to the store room and says, "I know what you are thinking, and I am sorry for that."
"Sorry for almost killing my dad? Are you out of your mind?", says Liam.
"I was told to do so. I had no choices."
"That man told you to kill somebody and you agreed to do that, I don't know what kind of helplessness was that."
"He has my sex tape. That's why."
"Mr. Darien has what?", confuses Liam.
"I used to work at his office before joining Garcia Publications, and we used to go out. One night, I don't know when he took my video and he has been haunting me with it."
"Why didn't you report it?"
"It won't make any difference. Darien is a sick man, and if I do anything like that, he will attack my family. So I am forced to do whatever he says."
"How can I believe that you are telling the truth?"
"I am serious", says Nelly and takes out her phone to show him the video.
After watching for the first few seconds, Liam is disgusted with Darien and now decides to tell his truth to Yulian.
"And yeah, the glass pieces I added in the coffee, is not actually glass. Its sugar candy", says Nelly. "It was just to scare you. I am sorry for that."
"You had me getting scared for no reason. You teamed up with that psycho and almost killed me."
"I am sorry for whatever happened but there is no escape."
"There is, if you shut your mouth and don't pick up Darien's calls or reply to his messages. Let me handle this now."
Metropolitan Correctional Centre, Manhattan:
Darien arrives to meet Alba, who is now dressed in orange as a prisoner. She is called to the visiting room and Darien greets her, "Hola, senora Alba."
"Hola", says Alba as she coughs a little.
"I won't take much time. I am just here to present you the idea from which you can get out of here easily."
"How is that?"
"By telling the truth, of course."
"I have told the truth."
"Common, we both know that you are lying. The girl who was with you that night, is my daughter, and that boy is her friend. She told me everything and you used to work at her house, right?"
"I- I don't..."
"You are silent because of your daughter, but do you know where your daughter is?"
Darien pulls out his phone and shows him the video that he took with Linda.
Alba gets emotional, says, "Mija, how is she?"
"Good, till now. But if you don't do as I say then it will take no time for me to completely show her the heaven."
"Noooo", screams Alba. "Please. I will do as you say."
"Good. You are in your senses. I just want you to tell the truth but without mentioning my daughter. Just say that the boy came to your house, threatened to hurt your daughter, made you call the restaurant, made you open the door, and then he attacked Liam from behind with some drugs. That's all. Just exclude the girl from the story. If someone asks why you didn't tell the truth, just say that you were scared that boy could hurt Linda."
"I will make sure that no police or detective will follow you after that. Linda and you can live in peace and I will pay you sufficient amount of money."
"Okay", agrees Alba.
