Levi never smiled anymore, never laughed, his politeness changed to sass and rudeness, he wanted everyone out of his life.
"Levi." Hanji would say.
He'd just grumble.
"What happened to you? You aren't happy anymore. I never wanted you to stop smiling. It lit up the world." Hanji said and frowed.
Levi's face turned red slightly.
"I-I'll try to." He softly replied. It took a while to fidgit with all the muscles in his mouth, but the current smile never matched the one he always did before his parents died.
They were both 16 years old and it has been years since Levi has ever shown a sign of happiness.
I don't get it. Hanji thought. If my parents were murdered, I'd still smile. I'd be sad at the same time, but I just can't see him like this for another year. Maybe if following our dreams would help him...
Join the military.
"Hey, Levi." Hanji stood up from the tall dress as the wind's breeze blew her dress skirt slightly with her hair.
"Hm?" He looked over at her.
"I think it's time to join the military."
