"To celebrate our new Vice Captain let's party!" Beerus exclaimed holding Monkey in the air like Simba.

The crew cheered and started drinking and playing games.

Sitting Monkey down Beerus left him to his own devices and went to the bar.

"What can I get you boss?" Sanji asked passing a crew mate a drink.

"Vodka with a spritzer."

As Sanji prepared the drink he looked around." So where's the little shit."

"Hey, show some respect he's your new boss." Beerus said pointing a finger at Sanji.

Passing Beerus his drink Sanji blew out smoke. "The little shits ain't even been here a day and he's already got a higher position then me."

"You know what? I'm not gonna sit here and listen to this." Beerus said downing his drink and leaving.

Dodging and weaving people Beerus made it to Monkey who was playing poker and from the looks of the others playing they were losing badly.

"Oi Monkey."

Turning around Monkey had on sunglasses and a green poker hat.

"Come with me I want to show you something." Beerus said picking him up and teleporting to the  top mast.

"Look around, everything is ours for the taking. From now on whatever you want take it. If you can't take it break it. That's lesson 1." Beerus explaned looking down at his crew.

Throwing a katana at Monkey he continued." Lesson 2. Strength is absolute. You can wherever you want in this world if your strong enough. It's the reason why you were Captured and abused."

Beerus said side eyeing the scar on the back of Monkey from his shoulder down to the opposite hip.

Monkey closed his eyes flashbacking to his time with celestials.

Beerus put his hands behind his back."If you want revenge it's yours."

Monkey unsheathed his sword and stared at his reflection before sheathing it and nodding.

Beerus picked him up."Good. Now run along." He said dropping him on a random crew mate.

Looking up at the moon he smiled." Soon I'll come for you guys too." He said thinking about a certain Saiyan and child.

"Boss we're about to start the eating competition." Sabo yelled from the deck.

"Say no more." Beerus answered jumping down.

The next morning Beerus woke up dangling over starboard." Why the hell did I decide to sleep here."

"BOSS COME LOOK AT THIS!" Sabo yelled

Turning around he was holding a stack of papers.

"What the hells your problem can't you see I'm trying to remember how to breath." He asked stepping over blacked out crew mates and rubbing his head.

"I know but look." He said shoving the paper in Beerus face.
