"You're important to me, Yuta."
Yuta replayed her words over and over again in his head. The feeling he felt from her words was irreplicable. That pure happiness that bubbled in him and made him want to do somersaults while screaming out of joy at the top of his lungs was something only Hiyori could ever make him feel. It made him smile like a fool and melt inside. One utterance of his name from her was all it took for him to feel all warm and gooey inside. That was just how much of an effect she had on him. His name sounded so sweet coming from her lips. Sweeter than honey.
His heart never failed to flutter every time her violet-blue eyes lit up at the very sight of him. Her lips always curving up in that smile that made his breath hitch. He swore her smile could melt even the coldest hearts.
He was so hopelessly in love with her - so utterly enraptured by her existence.
That was why he was going to do it.
He was going to confess his feelings for Hiyori.
He didn't know how'd she take it and the fear of possibly ruining their friendship overwhelmed him but he had to at least give it a try. If he didn't then he'd regret it for the rest of his life and, as Hiyori said, it was better to live without regrets in such a deadly profession like jujutsu sorcery so that was what he was going to do. He was going to try his best to live with no regrets. His last talk with Rika only solidified his decision to confess. The chains that had stopped him from pursuing his feelings for Hiyori were long gone so there wasn't anything holding him back except...
He couldn't decide how he was going to confess to her.
He tried searching the internet and he did until his eyes hurt from staring at his bright phone screen but he couldn't come up with anything. From an article on 100 different ways to confess your love to someone to asking advice from his sensei, he did almost everything he could think of to gain insight on how to confess in the best way possible. Yet, he still didn't have a clue as to where to start. Yuta sighed loudly.
'This is hopeless...' He had no experience in any of this. Heck, the closest thing he had when it came to experience in the love department was refusing to accept Rika's death and cursing her for six years. Let's just say, that wasn't exactly a good experience.
'I didn't even have any friends outside of Rika until this year. How am I supposed to confess my feelings to someone?' Yuta sighed before his eyes lit up in realization.
'That's it! I'll ask my friends!' He picked up his phone and went into his messenger app.
