Adam's POV

It had been a week since Hannah had woken up, her memory still hadn't come back so we were working on that more and more everyday. She was facinated by the pictures and always wanted to know more about our life together. I had yet to tell her about the baby, not knowing how to do it. The band had came by to see her, along with my mother. The emptiness in her eyes had cut my mom to the core, causing her to cry as soon as she left the room. The love of my life didnt remember me, my mother in tears, my home feeling lost and empty. The dogs missed Hannah more than anything, sleeping on her side of the bed while she was gone. Today was the day I get to bring her home, to finally be with her without visiting hours and constant doctors around. I walk into the room with a big bunch of flowers, a huge smile on my face. "Hello beautiful" I say with a smile as I kiss her cheek and hand her the flowers. "Are you ready to go?" She blushes and nods, making my heart skip a beat with her beauty. "More than anything" her voice was still a little hoarse as she whispers. I put my arm around her and help her into her wheelchair, then pushing her towards the front where my car was. "Wow that's a nice car!" She whispers and makes me smile. Her excitement about the little things always made me laugh. I help her in and start driving back to the house. We passed a bunch of apartments and I could tell she was confused on when we were going to stop. Pulling into our gated community her eyes went wide, "I...we live here?" She asked with a awed expression as we passed the manicured lawns and polished stone of our neighbors. I smile a little and pull up to our driveway, punching the code for the gate and allowing it to open. She remained silent but I could tell by her expression she was fasinated. I pull closer to the garage and suddenly her smile disapeared. Out of the corner I could see her flinch as her grip tightened on the seat, her eyes glazed with fear. "N-no please" she whispers and starts to frantically claw at the seatbelt restraining her. "P-please d-don't go i-in there!" I stop the car outside the garage, seeing the memories flash in front of her eyes. "Shhh Hannah it's ok" I whisper as I turn off the car, "you don't have to go in there." I put my hand over hers and get her to look at me. "It's ok, I won't make you do anything you don't want to." She gulps and nods, her gaze still fixated at the metal door housing my other car and motorcycle. Getting out I round to her side and slowly help her out, easy not to scare or hurt her. As she stands on shaky legs her smile returns, Reese running through the grass and picking her up into his arms. She giggles and clings to him tightly, sending a wave of jealousy through me. When was she going to hold me like that again? Shaking my head I close the car door and start taking her things inside, allowing them to have private time together. Sighing again I place her things inside the guest bedroom across the hall from mine, feeling empty knowing she won't be next to me in bed. Running my fingers through my hair I turn and head back downstairs, the dogs hot on my trail. Their excited whines and barks echoed off the walls as they heard Hannah's voice, Reese helping her hobble inside. The dogs instantly jump up on her, Frankie nearly knocking her over with excitement as she whines for her touch. There was no hesitation as she strokes her golden fur, "hi there baby!" She says with her eyes lighting up. I knew she didn't really know her, only from pictures, but that didn't stop Frankie from showering "kisses" all over Hannah's face. I smile a little and sit on the couch with Bones in my lap. She sits on the opposite end, the distance between us leaving me cold. Reese kisses her forehead before heading towards the door, "I'll let you have some time to rest Miss. Rose, if you need me I'm only a phone call away." She nods and blushes, and I could feel her uneasiness from being alone with me. After a few minutes of silence she looks up at me, "C-can I have a glass of water?" She asks in her small voice, looking up at me with her she doe eyes. I simply nod and get off the couch, grabbing a bottle of Fiji from the fridge and handing it to her. She gives me a grateful smile and drinks half the bottle like a fish who had been without water. "May I look around?" She asks looking down at her hands as she screws the lid back on. "You don't have to ask," I whisper looking up at her, only getting an empty stare back. "You live here." My voice cracks before I clear my throat. "I'll start on dinner, let me know if you need anything." I walk into the kitchen fighting back tears. I hear her weak footsteps as she hobbles around, wanting to help her more than anything but knowing that's not what she wants. Soon her footsteps disappear and I know she's upstairs. Taking a deep breath I pull out some tofu burgers and begin chopping up onions and mushrooms, hoping having her favorite meal will make her feel more at ease. "Yo-I mean we have a beautiful home." She says upon her return, leaning against the counter as I pulled the avocado fries from the oven. "Dinners ready." I say softly as I place her plate on the table with a glass of tea. She smiles down at the food. "How.." She says sitting down, stopping her sentence and giving me a smile that leaves me breathless. "Thank you." I nod and grab a beer from the fridge. We sat in OUR dinning room, in OUR home, eating together as strangers. How long will this last?
