She Will Be Loved (Chapter 17)

Hannah's POV

"Hannah wait!" Michael reaches for my hand, but I snatch it away before he can get a good grip. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" He looks a little sad but keeps his composure. "Hannah please listen to me." I sneared at him, "No, you listen to me, you abandoned me. You left me when I needed you the most. OUR PARENTS DIED! And I lost you the same day. So don't show up almost five years later and think you can make it better so you can't! You don't know what I had to do to survive! I was abused and forced into drugs, I was forced into a life I didn't want! So before you think that you can just walk in here and make everything better, you can take your apologies and shove them up your ass!" I feel everyones eyes on me as tears stream down my face. Michaels eyes were glossed over as well but he still didn't let his emotional guard down. "I'm sorry I failed you Hannah, but I wish you would give me a chance to make everything better." He grabbed his coat and handed me a card, kissing me on the cheek, then left. I looked up to see everyone staring at me. I immediately burst into tears again and run out the door. Sitting on the back porch I fish a cigarette out of my purse. Before I could light it someone smacks it out of my hand. "What the hell do you think you are doing?" I hear Patsys voice behind me. I sigh and hang my head, "I'm sorry mama, I just am stressed right now." I pull out another cigarette and raise it to my mouth. She takes that one too and crumbles it into pieces, then grabbing my pack out of my purse and stomping on it. "I know you are stressed but I won't let you do anything to harm my grand baby." Just then there was another shadow at my feet. "Grand baby?" Shit. It was Adam. "Umm I meant...I...um..Shit." Patsy was stuck like I was. "Hannah..." I avoided his gaze and continued to stare at my feet. I didn't know what to say. "Mom can I talk to Hannah for a minute?" Patsy bends down and kisses my head, "Don't worry baby girl, I got your back no matter what." I hear Patsy walk off and the door open and close. Adam pulls a chair over to me, grabbing my hands. I feel him staring at me. "Hannah, please talk to me. What's going on?" I peek up at him and see concern on his face. "I didn't want you to find out like this. I don't even know if I am for sure or not yet. I am pregnant..." Everything comes out as a whisper. I look away, not wanting to see the anger on his face. "I'm sorry..." Tears start falling down my face again. He grabs my face and kisses me hard with so much passion it makes my head spin. When we pull away I see a smile on his face, "I'm going to be a dad?" I look at him confused. "You aren't mad?" He traces my cheeks with his thumbs, "Why would I be mad?" He pulls me up to a standing possition and holds me tight. "Honey I am 35, I have been wanting kids for a long time now. And it's even better that you are going to be the mother of my children. I am happy. Really, truely happy." A smile breaks on my face, I feel so much more better now that he's happy about it. He pushes my jacket to the side and puts his hands on my flat stomach, "I'm going to be a dad." His smile widens and I put my hand on top of his. He kisses me again and picks me up, spinning me around. I giggle as he puts me back on the ground. "I have to make a doctors appointment to find out for sure. So I don't want to tell anyone yet just in case." He nods but keeps his hand on my belly. "I love you baby girl. With all my heart." He kisses me again before taking my hand and leading me back inside. Everyone pretended like nothing happened and continued with the party like normal. I had so much fun with everyone there and completely forgot about everything with Micheal. When I would walk by Adam he would grab me and kiss me, running his hand across my stomach with a big smile on his face. "Alright birthday girl, time for presents!" Patsy grabs my hands and leads me into the living room, I grab Adam and pull him with me. He sits down and I sit in his lap. He puts his arms around me and kisses my shoulder. I open presents from everyone and thank them all before Patsy tells me my next present was outside. "I gotta go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." Adam kisses my head and I nod. Patsy puts a blindfold on my eyes and holds onto my arm to walk me out back. I laugh as we stumble around, I eventually grab my heels and pull them off to minimize my chances of falling. "Alright relax I am going to set you in a chair. I feel myself being lowered and seated but they still keep the blindfold on. About five minutes goes by and I begin to hear music from a club. I scream as they take my blindfold off. There stands the boys from Maroon 5, Reese, Blake Shelton, and right in the center is Magic Mike himself, Channing Tatum. They are all dressed in black pants with no shirt and a bow tie. They begin dancing and moving around the stage and the whole time I'm screaming and laughing. This is by far the best surprise yet. Adams uncle comes up to me and hands me a stack of ones as Channing Tatum grabs my chair and picks me up, carrying me to the stage before dropping the chair. I scream in fear and excitement but contain myself. I look over at Adam and he smiles and winks, still dancing around me. Channing puts me on the floor and almost lays on too of me then rolls off, Adam then takes his place and is basically dry humping me. I scream and cover my face as everyone is laughing. Soon the song ends and all the guys have dollar bills sticking out their pants. My face is burning up and I am so embarrassed with everyone looking at us. Channing comes up to me and pulls me into a big sweaty hug, "Happy birthday!!!" I laugh as he pulls away. "Well thank you." Soon I get hugs from the rest of the guys before my favorite man comes up to me. He wraps his arms around me and places his hand on my belly, "How did you like your surprise?" I smile ear to ear and kiss him. "I loved it baby thank you." He holds me extra tight and I can feel the jealousy when Channing comes closer. I lean into him to reassure him. Pretty soon everyone is getting changed and leaving. Adam puts all my presents in the car and grab Frankie saying goodbye to Patsy and the rest of the family that is still around before getting in the car and heading home. Once home I immediately look up a good doctor. I find one and make a appointment for 2 p.m. tomorrow. "I'm so excited to see our little peanut!" Adam says from next to me. "You are coming?" He looks at me shocked. "Of course!!" I smile as he puts his hand on my belly. "Happy birthday baby. I love you." He kisses me deeply and I get on his lap. He holds me to his chest and plays with my hair and turns on my favorite movie, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Soon I am falling asleep and I feel him carry me up the stairs to bed.
