Its been week since that talk with kiefer, and mika didn't managed to talk to him nor see the love of her life. She's in agony for a couple of weeks, contemplating what to do next for him to finally fall for her. Random thoughts invading her mind for a long time already. Since that day, wala na siyang ginawa kundi ang mag-isip kung anong gagawin. Plus the fact that she misses him already is driving her nuts.
The lings noticed mika and her being troubled for weeks already and so they decided to invite her in a palawan getaway. They know that mika needs to unwind to be able to find herself. Naawa na rin sila rito because for the past 3 years, since that break-up with kris, mika is keep chasing kiefer kahit na mafriendzone man siya.
They were in the hotel's lobby when a small group approach them. It was kiefer's. Nagulat sila because they didn't expect to see them in that island. Yung plano nila for mika, masisira pa ata.
Mika too was shocked. Hindi niya alam ang gagawin niya. She greeted them except kiefer. Inisip niya na hindi na lang niya papansinin si kiefer to make things easier for her. Kailangan niyang pagplanuhan maigi what to do next and ayaw niyang magkamali. The whole time they stay there she didn't approach kiefer. She avoid him with all her might kahit na gustong gusto na niya itong kulitin. Lalo niya lang ito namiss. She's treating him as if he doesn't exists. She thought that it is better for her to do that.
It was already past midnight and mika can't sleep yet. Thought invaded her mind again. She decided to take a walk on the beach leaving her friends in their deep slumber.
As the sand tickle her toes, cool waves embraced her feet. She can smell salt in the air. The sound of the waves calming her exagerated mind. She needs this badly. She needs peace. Naupo siya sa dalampasigan.
"Lalim ah" she heard a deep voice from a far. She turned her head when she recognized who it was.
"Bakit gising ka pa?" Thirdy asked and approached her.
"Can't sleep. Ikaw? Di ka rin makatulog?" She replied while looking at him. He sat beside her.
"Sort of." He said then stare at the horizon. For a moment silence embraced them.
"Sumusuko ka na ba?" She turned her gaze to thirdy. Nabigla si mika. She knew what he meant. She decided to returned her gaze to horizon as well before answering him.
"Giving up is not in my vocabulary thirds."
"Then why you're acting as if manong doesn't exists?" Thirdy said calmly. No trace of hatred in his voice rather pure curiosity.
"I don't know what to do in front of him. Naguguluhan ako what to do next. Ayokong magkamali." Mika said.
"But i will never get tired of being his shadow thirds. Kahit nasaan siya, i will be there too. I love him that much that im willing to be his shadow. Kahit yun lang, masaya na ko. Kahit magmukha akong tanga, mapahiya man ako, i don't care. I love kiefer." She added.
"Mika, please don't give-up on manong. And whatever you're planning to do, always remember that we got your back. Support group mo kami."
She smiled upon hearing it. She's grateful that the ravena's always there to cheer her up. They're one of the reasons that keep her going. Then an idea popped in her mind.
"Thirds, can i ask you a favor? Please." She said pouting.
"Yan na naman siya." Thirdy said chuckling.
"Basta kaya ko, why not? Isang j's lang katapat nyan." He added.
She squealed in delight. So she told thirdy what her plans are, then hug him after. They stayed in that position for a while before they decided to go back to their rooms.

Mika busied herself preparing and cooking dinner for the whole team. Its been 2 months since that vacation in palawan and that talk with thirdy made her realized what to do next. Only her and thirdy knows her plan.
When she entered the gym, everyone threw their gaze at her, well except kiefer who's busy doing ball handling drills.
"Hello guys." She said. They greet her as well.
"Miks, after training yung dinner and malapit ng matapos." Thirdy said as he approached her.
"Okay. Prepare ko na to." She said talking about foods.
"Balik na ko dun ah." Thirdy said. She nodded.
She start to prepare dinner for the team and when she's done, she sat there and watch them. She's proud of these athletes. Well-disciplined, highly organized and full-hearted on the sport. Then coach gather the team in the center, saying his observations and expectations to the boys. After a few minutes, the training is finally over. They made their way to her and to the dinner she prepared for them.
"Yun naman. Busog na naman tayo nito mga paps."
"Mukhang napapadalas tayo yeye ah. Not complaining though."
Kiefer's teammates teased. Grabe lang sila. Haha. Well, sanay naman naman na ko sa kanila. After that palawan vacation, i always see to it that whenever im free, i'll visit their practice or watch their games. They always teased me, pero tatawanan ko lang sila. But the way kiefer treat me, only became worst. He's acting as if i don't exist. Whenever i show up to their practices and games, he just glare at me and wala na. Yun na yun. Cold treatment at its finest.
"The best talaga mga luto mo miks. Pwede na talaga mag-asawa. Di ba kief?"
"Sagutin mo na kasi paps. Grabe effort ni mika oh." They all laugh. Nahihiya na ko sa mga teammates niya.
"Ginusto niya yan eh" Napatingin naman kaming lahat kay kiefer who's busy fixing himself. He locked his eyes on mine as if telling me to stop.
"Mika, ang sarap ng adobo mo." Thirdy said trying to ease the tension. I just gave him a weak smile. Naiiyak na ko pero tama naman si kiefer, ginusto ko to kaya dapat panindigan ko.
"Grabe. Sasabog na ata ko sa kabusugan."
"Work-out tayo mga papi. Pinapataba tayo ng isa dito eh"
Another burst of laughter inside the gym.
"Thanks miks. Bukas ba ulit?" Von said.
"Lets..." I said but was cut by kiefer.
"Wala ng bukas. Last niya na yan." Kiefer said.
I look at thirdy. Buti na gets niya. He and the team left us. We need to talk things out.
As soon as they were outside, kiefer talk again.
"Hitting two birds in one stone huh? Iba ka mika. I never knew na ganyan ka pala." He said.
Teka. Anong sinasabi ng isang to? I don't get him.
"What are you talking about?"
"Wow. Just wow. Denial queen ka naman ngayon."
"Seriously kief, i don't get you." Naasar na ko sa kanya. Alam ko galit siya but i don't know why. Kung galit siya, galit rin ako. Were even.
"Di mo ko maloloko mika. So better stop." He said almost spitting. What? Wait. Anong niloloko? Anong pinagsasabi nito?
"You whore." He added. He's glaring at me as if im the most wanted criminal in the world. Kung nakakamatay lang ang mga titig, bumulagta na ko dito. Tiningnan niya ko mula ulo hanggang paa before turning his back.
I was left there, frozen. I really don't get him. His words cut me like a knife. Naguguluhan ako sa mga sinabi niya. Di ko maintindihan. Wala naman akong ginagawang masama for him to say those words. I was crying so hard that i didn't know how i managed to get out and drive my way.
That night i decided to get drunk and be wasted. Nasasaktan ako sa sinabi niya. But when i parked my car outside aracama, i saw him.
Kiefer. With a girl. Kissing.
