Jamie's POV

Work was finally over and me and Penelope drove home. We didn't say a word about Claire. She seemed distant and sad. Claire what did you do to her?

I parked in the driveway and we went inside. Penelope sat on the couch and turned on the tv. Flipping through the channel until she landed on one of her favorite game shows.

I gave her a kiss on the cheek and sat next to her. She laid on me and I began to cuddle. She was so cold almost like she was freezing. I covered her with a blanket and we watched tv.

Penelope POV

It was the next day and me and Jamie were heading to work. I got a text from Miss Bryson telling me I'll be covering for her in a meeting. I was a little worried because I was unsure how scientist's meetings went.

Jamie and I went inside and I went to find Midori. She was sitting at her desk typing when I waved at her.

"Hi Penelope, are you ready to see the scientist's work?" She asked, standing up and grabbing her clipboard.

"Yes, it sounds exciting."

Midori walked with me to the elevator and went to the third floor. Once we got to the third floor she knocked on one of the doors and a man in a lab coat opened it.

"Welcome to our lab." He smiled.

We followed the man inside and saw dozens of scientists working in the huge room. It was almost the size of a football field.

I saw cages of guinea pigs rats. I couldn't help but feel sorry for them. They don't deserve to go through all this.

Midori talked with some of the scientists as I looked around. Suddenly I saw a door at the end. It said "Jamie Ford's Office"

I opened the door and saw Jamie looking over some paperwork. His hand was running through his hair telling me he was stressed.

I sat on the chair in front of his desk and he noticed me. His expression suddenly turned happy and cheerful.

"Princess, what are you doing here?" He asked.

"I'm filling in for Miss Bryson."

"Ohhh."

I got up and admired his office. He had awards and decorations. Even a picture frame of me. Then I saw a baby photo that looked just like Jamie.

"Aww you were adorable as a baby Jamie!"

"How do you know that's me Penny?" He smirked.

"I can tell those dimples from a mile away." I said, making him chuckle.

He got out his computer and began typing. I looked out his window then at him. I sat right next to him on his desk with my legs crossed. He looked at all my skin showing from my short grey dress.

"Aren't you supposed to be out there Babygirl?"

"Maybe, maybe not. I just want to be close to you right now."

"I have work to do sweetie. I will give you all the attention you want when we get home."

"But I want to help you work." I grinned, sitting on his lap making him shift a little. I kissed his neck and grabbed his bulge, making him moan a little.

"Naughty girl. You don't want to see how this ends Princess, trust me." I grabbed his white lab coat and pulled him closer to me.

"Maybe I do." I whispered in his ear. He grabbed me by my neck and pushed me down on the table.

"Fuck it!" He cursed, shutting his laptop and unzipping his pants. He took his member out and I pulled down my red lace panties.

"Whatever. I need to leave. I'll see you later Jamie." I said, walking out.

I walked over to Midori and her paper was filled with her handwriting. Damn she must've learned a lot.

After that, Midori and I had lunch together. I didn't really see Miss Bryson today. She must've been really busy. But I guess that's a good thing.

Me and Jamie went home and didn't say a word to each other. Once we got there we saw the door wide open.

"Somebody must've broken in!" I said, looking at Jamie. He got out and followed only for him to turn around to face me.

"Penelope, stay in the car. I don't want whoever's in there to hurt you."

"B-but Jamie, what about you?"

"Don't worry about me sunshine. Now get back in the car."

I reluctantly agreed and sat back in the car. I fidgeted with my house keys worrying about Jamie.
