I put on a blue dress that complimented my figure. I went back into the room to see Jamie still fast asleep.
"Jamie." I whispered, leaning to his ear.
"Yes baby?" He responded, in his sexy sleepy voice.
"You gotta get ready for work."
"I know I'm just nervous." He sighed, sitting up.
An arrow struck me in the heart when he said that. I hated Claire. Today was the day I was going to stick up to her.
Once Jamie got ready we both headed to work. It was silent. I knew how anxious Jamie was and I hated it.
