Of course Malphas just had to take care of the Little Angel yet again. He couldn’t quite catch a break from everything, when all he ever wanted was to leave Gabriella and support his own troops. And he couldn’t leave his own Inner-Circles of Hell. Why? He had no idea. It could be that it was because of Bael, locking down the doors of his domination.

Malphas was still wondering how that happened. He controlled the Inner-Circles, why would it not listen to him? There were a lot of wrong things in here. But seeing as he had no choice for the matter, he had to go with Gabriella until the very end.

“You’re one troublesome Angel.” His eyes found the Little Angel curled on his arms, as if she was sleeping on her fluffy little clouds. No matter how much he looked at her, he couldn’t get enough of her. Something about her pulled him in, but since he was Malphas, he had learned how to push it all away. After all, he could get anyone he wanted. But not an Archangel. Never an Archangel.

After his little fight, he saw how Gabriella fought. She didn’t disappoint him at all. It only made him want her more; for her to be in the same league as him, she could be useful.

In any case, they have no more time to waste. It was about time they go to the Second Inner-Circle of Hell. A certain demon locked the way out of the first one, and Malphas didn’t even need to guess why that was. Bael was probably going to meet them at the last Inner-Circle, though Malphas had no idea what his intentions were about.

They also needed to look for the seven – now six demon children (since he killed the other one). They could not be left alone in a place like this.

Malphas eyes had gone distant, looking far, far away until his eyes found the thing he was looking for: The Carriage. Originally, it was Lucifer’s Carriage, but because Malphas had been loyal to him, Lucifer gave his carriage to his only right hand. The Carriage would take them anywhere they like, unless it’s the Inner-Circles, and then they have to go by each Circle.

There were seven Inner-Circles of Hell. One was the Changing Seasons, and the next would be the Flowing River of Destruction. The lower the Circle, the harder it was to survive. And they were just going to the second one.

Something else bothered Malphas. The reason why the Inner-Circles were built was not because of its heavily guarded prisons, but because each Inner-Circle was supposed to oppose each Archangel, since there were also seven of them. The sixth Inner-Circle would be for Gabriella. Every level had its own rank. Considering Gabriella was the second in power in the whole Archangels, her level would be on the sixth, while Michael would be on the seventh, seeing as he was the chief commander.
