a/n; Happy New Yr!!! I hope you guys had a good one! And now, let's welcome 2015 with this chapter. But before that, here's something for you guys

~ "There are two people you'll meet in your life. One will run a finger down the index of who you are and jump straight to the parts of you that peak their interest. The other will take his or her time reading through every one of your chapters and maybe fold corners of you that inspired them most. You will meet these two people; it is a given. It is the third that you'll never see coming. That one person who not only finishes your sentences, but keeps the book."

2015. 1 book. 12 chapters. 365 pages. Make it worthy.

so, in this year, 2015, you guys will meet a lot of people. New year is a new chance. Make your page 1 of 365 interesting. Here's to a new beginning! :)

Happy New Year! Thank you so much for being such awesome and lovely readers! I love you all. ♥

Malphas dropped dead in front of Gabriel. She didn’t know what had happened, but somehow Malphas lost his consciousness. Truth be told, Gabriel had no idea what she should do. What if Malphas just suddenly died? Who would help her then?

“He’s okay,” one of the demon child commented.

“He is?” Gabriel asked for confirmation.

They all nodded.

But seeing him look so lost had her heart flow with warmth. It was as if he didn’t know where he was going. Back there, he resembled a lost child, seeking for a mother’s love. Had Gabriel arrived before the battle even started, would Malphas have changed for the better? It still saddened her that he was able to kill a powerless demon child. That demon was his kin.

Malphas was cruel, she knew that. But deep inside, she knew there was something good in him, no matter how small it may be; just like the Yin Yang.

And there he was, on the red carpet with his body angled on his side. When Gabriel touched his skin, it was warm. Too warm. He was having a fever.

Gabriel pulled Malphas at the side with the demon children helping her. She lay him down with his arm on both sides of his body. His breathings were rapid and hot. He was really burning up. And she didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t possibly die, could he?

Gabriel leaned in to check his breathing. She was surprised to find him whispering relentlessly with, “Lilith, Lilith. Lilith, Lilith.”

One demon child sat next on Malphas head and placed a palm on his forehead. “He needs Lilith.”

It confused Gabriel She really had no idea what was going on.

“What do you mean by that?”

The four demons looked at one another with a knowing look, until finally, one of them took initiative to answer her. “Well, Malphas fancies Lilith. Everyone fancies Lilith. But. . . Lilith is his mother and lover. She is his creator. She has control over Malphas, and he could not survive without her.”
