Malphas stared at the brown, reddish, orange-ish (he couldn’t decipher much of its color) haired, soft skin, full cheeks archangel. Her smile was even playful. In an instant, his hatred and anger erupted. He couldn’t believe that he was deceived! He knew there was something wrong with her, but he didn’t know that she was an archangel. If he had known, he would have tied her the way he did with Michael. Of course he also knew the reason why she was here in hell. She was here to save Michael.
He wasn’t informed that archangels could be female. And it wasn’t like he had seen a fair share of them.
Malphas clenched his fists and inhaled sharply. He had to present this one to Lucifer, but he couldn’t. The girl did some enchantment on him – something he couldn’t remove.
So he stood up and moved to her side. He had lain her down on the couch and was snoring loudly, whether that was a good or a bad sign, it didn’t matter. Malphas had to try and change her.
He took her flushed cheeks and Malphas saw how odd the girl was. Her hair was splayed everywhere, her eyes were closed as if she really knew she was safe from him. Gabriel’s hand was place under her chin and she tucked herself in like a baby. She wasn’t like any angels and archangels. She looked as if she was lost.
Malphas shook his head, irritated.
Then he leaned in, inspecting every pore on her skin. Slowly he pulled out a knife on his boot and was about to strike her on her arm when he stopped on his own.
Annoyed, Malphas threw the knife away.
He couldn’t hurt the archangel. No matter how much he tried, it would always end up the same. She had controlled him.
He hated how she slept soundly on his couch. She made it seem like this was her home, not his. Malphas was never agitated like this before. He usually gets what he wants. And he wanted this archangel to give in. He wanted her to crave for his touch like any angels would.
“You piss me off,” Malphas growled while looking at her. “So you were the one sent from above, huh?”
But as Malphas looked at her, he realized that she was severely wounded and bruised. Her porcelain white skin was covered in dirt and wounds. Her legs seemed to be shaking and when she slept, he instantly knew that it was because she was too tired. The archangel looked like she was about to die.
But they couldn’t die. Archangels were immortals. They could be tortured but they can never die.
Malphas wasn’t attracted to her, no matter how soft fragile looking she was. He had seen far better looking women than her.
Lucifer’s right hand – helpless! His subconscious taunted him.
“Shut up.” He kicked the table on the center of the room.
