If you're looking for a light-hearted, quick, Marauder's Era read, this book is for you. Following Teresa Brooks, it chronicles her and Lily's plan to get revenge on James Potter (and results in a few broken hearts). I really enjoyed the delicate way the author flashed between character perspectives and made smooth transitions between each chapter/day (hence the name, calendars).
Many familiar characters from the Marauder's Era are mentioned and the author does a great job of holding true to their personalities. I was a bit sad by the ending, but not all endings need to be happy (I'm just a sap for a good romance haha).
