Lily Argent is just trying to stay in the shadows of Hogwarts castle and keep her secrets well covered. No one can find out about her Death Eater father or that she killed him. And especially about her powers that she tries to bury. Then, George saunters into her life with a hop and a bang (quite literally) and her life falls apart. Forced to find a place amongst the Weasley's, Lily begins to struggle with her past and whether to reveal it to George, who is fast becoming something more. More than anything, she doesn't want to be alone again.
I REALLY enjoyed this book!! It had been a while since I found a good George fanfic and, as we know, I LOVE strong female characters. Lily is haunted by her dark past and constantly grapples with whether she can trust the Weasleys and while her and George's relationship is not a slow burn (sometimes those take too much patience lol), there is plenty of ups and downs to keep you on your toes. And the relationship between Lily and Snape is very touching. Give this story a whirl if you want to see a woman give George a run for his money!
