Ahhhh this book is so good!!! It's been a while since I've read it, but I love the dynamic between Freya Merse and James. Freya is a half-blood wizard who has been friends with the Marauders her entire time at Hogwarts. Incidentally, she was also dating Sirius before he broke up with her, citing his "playboy" ways as the reason for not holding relationships. What's the best way to get revenge? With James, of course, who also wants to make Lily Evans jealous. Thus begins a whirlwind of games and flirtations that are just a show... or are they?
The ending of this book is BRUTAL :( so don't expect to feel totally satisfied lol. But I do appreciate the message and realism the author was trying to convey.
