Delilah Meddows is a proud member of the Order of the Phoenix until she is killed by Voldemort on a mission in the Ministry. But she isn't dead. Instead, Delilah is sent back in time to the 1940s. A time when Tom Riddle still has a semblance of humanity. Having been resorted into Slytherin, Deliliah begins to friend the Knights of Walpurgis, all the while trying to find a way back home. But perhaps home isn't a time, but a person. Delilah begins to wonder whether she can change Tom at all. Or if maybe he is set in his path of destruction.
This is one of my favorite Tom Riddle books! The author has not yet finished the sequel (which is set in 1998). But I would still recommend this book to anyone looking for a strong female lead who still bears realistic faults. It is so difficult to fully encompass the character of Tom and still make him redeemable and yet the author certainly captures his persona. This story is addicting and the chemistry between Delilah and Tom is electrifying! Not to mention, the quality of writing is wonderfully detailed!
