Shattered - Book 2 (Gwen Stacy x Male Reader)

"England?"

    I went to Oscorp to talk to Gwen about it. I was in the elevator when I saw her walking in a hurry, security guards following. When I got off I walked in the hall. I saw Gwen trip over herself and I caught her. I pulled her close against me. "Hi." "Hi." I replied. "What are you doing here?" "What are you doing here? You should be at a desk." I returned. 

    Gwen pulled us into a storage closet. She looked out the carvings in the door and saw the security guards. I looked at them pass, not able to find Gwen. Gwen smiled at me. "You're in trouble. What'd you do this time?" I asked. "Yeah, it was an accident. In the genetics lab, they're covering it up. That guy at Times Square last night, I met him. He was an electrical engineer in the building. And he loved Spiderman, by the way. He was like a fanatic." Gwen explained.

"I didn't get love vibes. I got more of a 'want to kill me with his electricity' vibe."
"That's actually kinda what it's like to love you… I was searching for him on the computer, and all the files, he's erased. He's completely erased."
"That's Oscorp."
"What about you, why are you here?"
"I had to ask you about England. But more importantly you said you got rid of your powers."
"... I got a call-"

Gwen POV

Flashback

    I got a call on my phone. I picked it up, expecting another call giving condolences for my dad. "Hello?" I asked. "Gwen Stacy?" The man asked. "Yes?" I asked.

"I know you are the Ghost Spider. And I can help you."
"What could you have that I need?"
"A cure for your powers."
"How?"
"Come to Avengers Tower, right now. In uniform, they'll let you in. Tell Jarvis, Fury sent you and you're looking for Bruce Banner."
"Bu-"

    The call ended. I put my phone down, curiosity won and I went to the tower. I landed on the balcony-ledge thing in the top part of the tower. I walked in the door, "Identify yourself." A monotone voice ordered, red lights flashed and alarms went off. I felt my spider senses go off and I knew there were anti-personnel weapons in the wall. "My name is Gwen Stacy. Fury sent me. I'm looking for Bruce Banner." I took my mask off.

Y/n POV

Present day

"Bruce found a way to reverse my mutation, and he cured my powers."
"The Avengers."
"What about them?"
"Did you see any others?"
"Tony walked in for a bit. Asked me if I knew where you were. I said I didn't."
"They're trying to recruit me."
"And?"
"I don't want to get dragged into their fight."
"Yeah."

    Gwen looked out the door, and I realized where we were. "Gwen this is a maintence closet. This is the most cliched hiding spot you could have picked." I said. "I know." Gwen replied.

Luke POV

    I walked into Otto's lab. "Octavious. I'm here." I said. "Come, I've finally figured this out." Otto said. He was working on the combat suit, his mechanic arms working as tools. "Good. So when do we kill Spiderman?" I asked. "Soon, first we need to enlist that friend." Otto said. "You know what they say, three's a crowd." I replied. "An unstoppable crowd." Otto returned. "Then let's go." I agreed.

Y/n POV

    I was at my apartment when I heard a knock at the door. I opened the door, not knowing whether to expect cops, fans, or Gwen. I was met with Luke, he looked different. "You did this to me." He had gotten worse, his skin was getting scale-ish like a fish. His hair grown out and his smile was almost green. He was wearing some high tech suit.

    Suddenly, something shot at me from the wall behind me. The tentacle wrapped around my chest, the claws digging into me while I groaned in pain. A man came through the wall, three more arms from his back while Luke smiled. I was lowered down to Luke's level. "Bye bye." He grinned at me, I was thrown out into the street. I was falling, I raised my arm to shoot my web and keep me from hitting the ground. Someone burst into my side and I felt a burn like no other.

    I landed on a rooftop. Electro stood over me, he was wearing a supervillain suit as well. Luke flew over on some type of glider. And Doc Ock climbed over. I stood up, but an arm knocked me down, back on my back.

3rd Person POV

    Gwen Stacy was on the street, she felt a 6th sense, and suddenly looked up at the sky. A bright light was flying through the sky. "Electro." She realised. Her attention was turned to a TV. "We're currently getting footage of two new powered villains working with Electro. They seem to be beating down on a kid brutally. Wait… that's Spiderman."

    On the rooftop, Y/n was getting hit with blow after blow. His body crackled with electricity from Electro not only, but something inside of him. The blue glow overtook his body, but kept fizzing out. "Come on." Y/n urged himself. Suddenly one of the arms grabbed him on the back, raising him up. The blue electricity was fizzing out still while Y/n lie limp. He was barely conscious. He had cuts and bruises all over, his clothes torn.

    Gwen saw Y/n getting beat on, him trying to fight back. "It's confirmed. The man under attack by these sinister men is in fact Y/n L/n, AKA Spiderman." Gwen began to run, she could see the glare from Electro down the street a few blocks.

    Doc Ock was about to deliver the finishing blow when he was kicked in the head. He released Y/n, a superheroine swung in and scooped Y/n up, swinging away with him. "Leave him, Lukas. We'll get him soon." Ock said. "We'd better." Electro said.

    Y/n opened his eyes and saw over the shoulder of a white suit, he hugged into the person, falling asleep again. "I got you." Gwen was in the suit. She took him to her home, in her room. 

Gwen POV

    I laid him on my bed. "What did they do to you?" I mumbled, grabbing my med kit. Y/n groaned, "Gwen." I went to him, he looked at me with tears in his eyes. "Help me." He said, my heart broke. "I will, I swear." I heard footsteps. "Gwen, honey." My mom walked in, she saw everything. Me in my suit, Y/n hurt on the bed. "Oh my god." She saw Y/n. "Gwen, what is going on?" Mom asked.

    I walked to her. "Mom, I'll explain later, but he needs our help." I explained. "What do you need me to do?" Mom asked me.
