Chapter 13: We Have Something To Say...

"Korra, your penthouse is amazing!" Bolin said as he looked around with the rest of Asami's scattered around.

"Thanks." Korra smiled at him. "Do you guys want something to drink?"

"Yes." Everyone responded at the same time while telling Korra what they wanted.

Korra went into the kitchen to get the waters and sodas without knowing that Asami followed her into the kitchen.

"Hey, Korra?" Asami asked grabbing her attention.

"Yeah?"

"Should we tell everyone we are dating?" Asami leaned on the counter next to the fridge.

Korra got her head out of the fridge and looked at Asami. Seeing the green eyed girl had a confused expression on her face. Korra closed the fridge leaving all the drinks on the counter and got closer to Asami. Putting her hands on her waist in a gentle manner.

"If it were up to me, I would tell the whole world, but they are your friends, Asami. I don't want to force anything on you. Tell them whenever you are comfortable." Korra looked down to Asami's lips and then back to her eyes quickly. "You have no idea how badly I want to kiss you." Korra whispered.

"Kiss me." Asami answered in a hush tone.

Korra trapped Asami's bottom lip between hers and slowly started to kiss Asami. She wanted to savor every inch of Asami's lips. Korra moved her right hand to cup Asami's face and puller her closer as if she wanted to eliminate any and every space there was. Asami immediately responded to the kiss and when Korra started to put more desire into it, she let out a small moan. Making Korra grab Asami's legs and put her on the counter. Korra ran her tongue along Asami's lip which made Asami open her mouth. Korra didn't want to be aggressive, so she slowly started to explore Asami's mouth, taking in everything. This time Korra let out a moan and thank Ravaa that it was muffled by Asami or Asami's friends would have heard. Asami put her hand in Korra's hair and was lost into the kiss.

Feeling that the kiss could get longer and knowing that they could be interrupted at any moment, Korra slowly broke away from the kiss and she put her forehead against Asami's.

"I want to tell them now." Asami whispered. "I want to be able to kiss whenever we want. To hold hands. And make sure no one thinks you are available. The first step is telling our friends."

"I support whatever you want to do." Korra smiled at her. "Have everyone know the Asami Sato is dating me."

Asami gave her a quick kiss before getting of the counter. They grabbed the drinks and went back to the living room where all of their friends were waiting. Each girl with a huge smile on their faces. They took a seat on the sofa next to Opal and Jinora. Mako and Bolin were on the sofa to their right while the twins and Kai were sitting on the rug playing with Naga.

"What took you guys so long?" Bolin asked as he grabbed his drink.

"We got distracted." Korra grinned at Asami.

"Yeah, but we wanted to tell you guys something important." Asami smiled as she grabbed Korra's hand.

Opal and Jinora smiling at each other knowing what the pair were up to. Mako was checking his phone but once he looked up and saw them holding hands with a stupid smile on their faces, he knew what was up.

"Korra and I are dating." Asami announced.

"Finally!" Bolin said excited.

"Way to go Korra!" The twins cheered at the same time.

"So, are you girls girlfriends now?" Opal asked.

"Korra hasn't asked -" Asami started saying.
