44.) WORK DAY

Mingyu woke up not feeling well, he didn't know why he wasn't feeling well but he went to school anyway.

"Hey, Mingyu-ah. You good?" Junhui greeted him as the other smiled back despite feeling sick.

"I'm doing fine, how about you, hyung? How are you and Minghao" The older avoided eye contact as Mingyu got his stuff from his locker.

Junhui slowly got out of Mingyu's sight before going into his required classroom.

"They think their so secretive" Mingyu scoffs, "Even the whole school knows about them"

"Yah, Mingyu-ya" He looked up to see his crush approaching him.

"Good morning, hyung" Mingyu brightly smiles as Wonwoo before walking his way to work.

His sweat was cold but Mingyu assumed that it was because of the cold atmosphere.

"Hey, Gyu" his manager greeted him as he weakly waved back before heading to the locker room to change into his uniform.

He finished changing into his uniform before starting to work.

It was the end of the day as he heads onto his second job.

It was colder than usual or so he thought before finally arriving at the convenience store.

He wore his vest and greeted the customers that came in before feeling lightheaded but he brushed the thought off.

"That'll cos-" Mingyu collapsed on the floor as the customer looked at the six-foot man faint. Luckily, Wonwoo entered the store noticing the stranger flustered before looking behind the counter to see Mingyu.

"MANAGER MOON" He called out to the manager who was in the staff room "What is it, Wonwoo?"

"Mingyu fainted...I'll take care of him" Manager Moon nodded before scanning the other person's stuff.

Mingyu was on Wonwoo's back as the older got Mingyu's stuff.

"Aish, you should've told me that you were sick" He opened Mingyu's house with the house key.

Wonwoo laid the other on the bed before getting the medicine and thermometer.

"39 degrees" Wonwoo sighed before getting a damp towel and slowly placing it on Mingyu's forehead and arms before changing him into pajamas.

It was the next morning and Wonwoo got no sleep but cooked breakfast for MIngyu.

"Here say aaaa" The older fed Mingyu the soup he made before checking Mingyu's body temperature.

"37 degrees, you're getting better but rest for today. I'll take over your jobs today. Don't even think about refusing" Mingyu shushed before grabbing the other on the wrist.

"I...have a question to ask you" Wonwoo looked at him.

"What is it?" Mingyu struggled.

"Can I- Can I date you?" He finally said it after 3 years of liking the other.

"Took you long enough" Wonwoo ruffled the younger's hair.

"Our first date will be on Monday since we don't have classes" Wonwoo left the other speechless.

"He agreed" Mingyu blushed before resting again.
