Ash rolls over, using her hand to block the sun from her eyes. All the pain rushes back into her system. A slew of curse words leave her lips as she sit up. She looks around. Everyone is accounted for. All the weapons have been returned. The Flame is in Clarke's hand.

Everyone is waking up. They seem to each take time, trying to process all that happened. Ash looks out towards the horizon. They had fucked up once again. Jasper gets up, clearly angry. Clarke and Octavia get in a yelling match about looking for another Nightblood while Bellamy helps Ash to the rover. Clarke points out that they need someone who can use the Flame while Octavia doesn't want another village to be destroyed. Both have valid arguments. Clarke storms off into the woods and Bellamy looks at Ash.

"Make sure she doesn't die," she tells him. He nods his head and goes to follow her. Octavia goes over the Ash.

"How are you feeling?"

"In pain," she responds before looking at her leg. The bandage is soaked in blood. Her whole body is screaming in pain, but she tries to ignore it. A gunshot echoes through the woods. Ash quickly look in the direction for what is happening. After a couple minutes, Clarke and Bellamy walk out of the woods with a third person that is wounded.

"Roan?" Ash asks in confusions.

"We need to get back to Arkadia," Bellamy just states. Roan just glances at Ash before getting in the rover. The others get in as Clarke helps Ash get into the rover. Jasper drives the vehicle and Octavia sits in the passenger seat. Everyone remains quiet, but they look back and forth between each other.

Ash notices that Roan glanced at her bleeding leg, but doesn't say a word. Once they make it to Arkadia, Raven is standing there, waiting. She watches everyone get out of the rover. Bellamy pulls Roan along as Clarke helps Ash.

"Where's Luna?" Raven asks.

"She wouldn't take it," Clarke states. She helps Ash to the infirmary, getting her to set on one of the beds. Her leg is propped up as Clarke removes the bandage. Ash rolls up her pants some so Clarke can look at the wound.

"You'll definitely need stitches."

Ash nods her head and lays back as Clarke grabs what she needs. Bellamy walks inside and sits beside Ash.

"I'm going to numb the area by the gash," Clarke states. Ash nods her head. She feels a pinch as a needle goes in by her leg. Soon the place on her leg is numb and all she feels is the tugging feeling as Clarke sews up her leg.

"So why did you shoot Roan?" Ash asks, looking at Bellamy.

"To make sure he wasn't being controlled by A.L.I.E," he calmly tells her. Clarke soon finishes the stitches, cleaning up the blood.

"We need to convince him to help us."

"I can," Ash states. "Let me talk to him."

"You need to get rest," Bellamy states.

"I need to check any other injuries first," Clarke tells her. Ash sits up and pulls off her shirt, leaving her in just a sports bra. Clarke goes and looks at her shoulder.

"You're going to have a nasty bruise, but no serious damage."

"Great," Ash responds, putting back on her shirt. "I can go and talk to Roan."

Bellamy looks unsure about the idea.

"I'll go with-"

"By myself. He probably won't talk to a person that shot him."

"She has a point," Clarke states. Ash cautiously gets up. Bellamy still seems unsure.

"But if she-"

"She'll be fine."

"You can stand outside," Ash offers. Bellamy contemplates this before agreeing. Clarke grabs what is needed to clean Roan's wound. The three head towards the cell. Clarke hands Ash the supplies before she heads inside. Roan looks at her before looking away.

"I need to clean the bullet wound," she tells him as the door closes.

"I'm fine," he tells her. He looks her up and down. "How is your leg?"

"Could be worse."

She sets the stuff down, sitting down across from him. She looks around before chuckling at this point.

"What?" Roan asks.

"Last time I was in here I was imprisoned."

"Like I am?"

"As far as I know, you aren't imprisoned."

"Don't lie to me."

"I don't lie to you. I never have."

He stares her down before nodding his head. The two sit there in silence for a bit. This seems to be habit for them. The couple months she was his second, they had times of just dead silence. Not awkward silence. This time is different though. Like they are trying to figure out where the other stands.

"So why am I here then?" Roan finally asks.

"We need to ally with Azgeda," she tells him. "A.L.I.E is a threat to all of us."

"How do you plan on stopping her?"

"We need a Nightblood to stop her."

"The only one that I know of is Ontari."

"Ontari?"

"She was trained by my mother. The new Heda."

Of course. Even if Ontari hasn't taken the chip, though the chances are slim, she wouldn't want to help Skaikru.

"We may be able to save everyone if we can get her to help."

Roan considers this for a moment before looking her in the eyes.

"Can I trust you?"

"Can I trust you?" she responds. He considers this before nodding his head. She gets up before banging her fist on the door. Clarke and Bellamy come in and the four of them discuss everything. They soon call a meeting and everyone goes to the garage. Everyone talks about what they need to do. Hopefully they can get through this without any problems. But part of Ash knows, it can go sideways so quickly. And knowing their luck, it will.
