Clarke sits outside the rover, talking into the hand radio. Six years and she still haven't received a reply. It's ridiculous at this rate, but it gives her hope. Hope that Ash and her didn't lose everyone they care about. But part of her wonders if what they have will change if others returned. She knows that there may always be a part of Ash that has feelings for Bellamy. Honestly she can't blame her. Part of Clarke cares for Bellamy as well. It's been the three of them through so much, it was bound to happen.

But it was Ash that Clarke really fell for. She wanted to kiss her for awhile before she had. It's been six years since their first kiss. Since Ash was married and Clarke needed to speak her mind when she could. Who would have thought they would end up here? The two of them pretty much raising a young girl.

A loud cracking sound echoes through the quiet morning and Clarke looks up. Something manmade is falling through the air. A ship. Clarke smiles while leaping to her feet. She opens the rover's back door to see a sleeping Madi and Ash.

"Wake up," Clarke sweetly mutters to them.

"Seintaim early gon training," Madi mutters.

"I agree," Ash yawns, sitting up. Her long, auburn hair a mess. "It's too early."

"We have company," Clarke smiles. It takes Ash a second before her eyes get wide as she throws off the blanket.

"Fuck. You should've started with that."

"I had to wake you up."

"Semantics."

Ash pulls on her jacket before rushing out of the rover with the other two behind her. The three look at the ship that's landing. Thrusters lower it gently to the ground.

"I thought you said the ship was small," Madi states.

"Unless Raven and Monty preformed some miracle on the Ark, that's not ours."

"Get the sniper rifle," Clarke orders. Madi rushes to grab it from the rover and hands it to Clarke. The blonde lines up the scope, allowing for a better view of the ship. Written on the side is 'Eligius Corporation: Gagarin Prisoner Transport'. She hands the rifle to Ash so she can look. The two women just glance at each other, before silently agreeing what needs to be done.

"Get in the rover," Ash tells Madi. "We need to go before those people see us."

"Who are they?"

"We're not sure," Clarke answers as the small family piles in. Ash drives them down the path to where all their weapons are hidden. It's not far. Though they hoped they would never need to fight again, they were well aware that they needed to be prepared. Clarke pretty much jumps out of the rover before Ash even stops. She starts pulling out each gun. Ash hurries over and the two start checking to make sure they're loaded.

"Were you able to get a count of how many were on the ship?" Clarke asks.

"No," Ash sighs, loading the rifle.

"Let's hope we have enough bullets."

"Maybe we should blow up the bridge to their ship," Ash jokes.

"Not funny."

"I thought it was. Plus it worked last time."

"Because we had Raven."

"True."

Clarke turns and hand a pistol to Madi.

"Hide in your special spot," Clarke orders. "And don't use this unless absolutely necessary. It'll give away your position once you do."

"But I want to go with you two," Madi pleads.

"You can't," Ash quickly snaps, but the softens her voice. "We need you to be safe. We'll get you when we can."

Madi nods her head before scurrying off to her hiding spot. Clarke watches as Ash's shoulders slouch some. She forgets how much everything in the past decade has weighed Ash down. Both have lost so much already. But Clarke didn't have to watch her mother bleed out or her husband be killed. It would make sense she's protective. In all honesty, Clarke is a bit protective of her small family as well. She can't let anything happen to them.

"I say we flank them," Ash states, slinging her bow over her shoulder. Clarke nods her head while slinging a rifle on her shoulder. "Also don't fire unless necessary."

"Yes ma'am," Clarke chuckles. They quickly kiss before heading in opposite directions. Finding a high enough position with enough foliage cover, Clarke crouches down and aims her rifle. Looking through it, she can see more people exiting the ship and spreading out to investigate the village. A gunshot rings out in the direction of where Madi is. The strangers look that way.

"Shit," Clarke mutters under her breath before taking off in the direction of the gunshot. She makes it to the edge of the trees to see two men are towering over a scared Madi. The skinnier one is aiming a gun at the young girl. As she lines up the sight of the rifle an arrow flies through the neck of the man with the gun. Clarke lowers her weapon before rushing down to the two. Ash not too far behind. Clarke aims her gun at the standing man while Ash rips her arrow from the dead body.

"No," Madi cries out. "He was trying to help me. I think he's one of the good guys."

"There are no good guys," Clarke informs her before looking at Ash. Ash pulls Madi against her so the girl doesn't see Clarke shoot the man in the head. Better to limit how much more death the young girl sees.

"Baines, check in," a woman's voice over a radio calls. Ash searches the body. "Baines, check in. We heard another gunshot come from your direction."

Ash holds a walkie. She holds it in a manner to prevent her from pressing any buttons on it.

"We need to go," she states.

"We're heading your direction."

"Like right now."

"Yep," Clarke responds. She grabs Madi's hand and the three take off running to find a new place for Madi to hide. She can't let anything happen to her. Madi needs to be safe. Madi and Ash need to be safe. Clarke needs to protect the two of them and she will. No matter the cost.
