We have now arrived in Baku and left the airport on the team bus and made our way to the driver hotel that we are sharing with the Formula One drivers. The journey from the airport to the hotel was only 30 minutes. I had already texted Lando and George, that I am on the bus and that I'll be at the hotel in 30 minutes depending on traffic.
As the bus pulled up outside the front of the hotel, I got off and grabbed my case and made my way inside and headed to reception to check-in. Within 20 seconds of me walking into the hotel, I felt two strong arms around my waist, so I tilted my head back to see my handsome Georges face, so I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist and gave him a kiss, which I have been dying to do since Sunday night.
"Oh, how I've missed you my beautiful girl," George said with the happiest look on his face. "I've missed you too handsome, so much! Even though it's only been a couple of days" I said with a massive smile on my face. I peered over my boyfriend's shoulder and saw my brother looking up at me. "Oh hi twinnie, you alright down there," I said whilst trying not to laugh but George just laughed at me and put me back down on the ground. I walked over to my twin and gave him a hug. "Yeah, I'm good twinnie. Just missed my sister that's all" Land said whilst placing his chin on my shoulder.
"Princess yesterday, when I arrived in Baku, I rang your team principal and he is happy for you to share a room with me" George said with a smile. "Really," I said. Then George nodded in response. I just squealed with happiness and jumped into George's arms. We both stood there for about 10 minutes, with my team just laughing at us, but they knew we were happy.
When George put me down, I grabbed my suitcase and we both walked towards the lift and went up to our room. As soon as George opened out room door, I wheeled my suitcase in, dumped my rucksack on the table, kicked my white air forces off and jumped on the bed but that was a bad idea because that made me feel queazy again.
"How was the flight from Frankfurt to Baku?" George asked his girlfriend. "To be honest with you babe, it was awful. It was quite turbulent and I was sick 6 times, it was probably just my nerves and possible to the fact that didn't eat much since I left London" I explained to my boyfriend. All George did, was wrap his arms around me and start to rub his hand in a circular motion on my back to make me feel better. True fact, it started to make me feel better because I'm in the arms of the love of my life.
The rest of the day went past rather quickly, me and George stayed in bed most of it, with the occasional visit from all the other drivers, which was nice. Lando stayed the longest. He was sat in the corner of the room and ended up falling asleep hugging the curtain, which was pretty funny. I tell you, that boy can fall asleep anywhere. To be honest, I can fall asleep anywhere but that's mainly when I'm at the track. I remember one time, I had come back from practice and the mechanic were wheeling the car back into the garage, they all thought I was awake because I normally get out the car within a couple of minutes of being in back in the garage. it was until 15 minutes later, when Andy lifted the visor on my helmet to see I had fallen asleep. They had to call my brother and George to come and wake me up. Well, to get Lando to wake me up and George to undo my seat belt and pick me up out of the car.
The next couple of day went by pretty quick and it was now Friday morning. I woke up to an empty bed with a note on the pillow which reads:
My beautiful AJ,
I have already headed to the track. I will try and be in your garage for your practice session this afternoon but I might have a meeting but I know you wont mind. Just wanted to say, have a lovely day and good luck with practice and media, I know you'll ace it.
