Six Years Later
A lot has happened over the last six years for sure!
Just before the 2021 season kicked off, AJ and George got married just before testing, so she doesn't race as AJN but she races as AJR.
AJ enjoyed her first season at Red Bull, there were lots of highs and some lows but she used all her determination and focus to get her through the season. AJ and Max are like best friends and are able to have a laugh during race weekends, especially during interviews or filming videos for the Red Bull youtube channel.
Carlos left McLaren and moved to Ferrari at the end of the 2020 season and Daniel Ricciardo became my brothers teammate and they became quite good friends.
During the summer break of the 2021 season, it was announced that George would be moving to Mercedes for the 2022 season and AJ was over the moon for him but it meant they were definitely going be more of rivals on the track but they didn't mind the bit of competition.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen became World Champion in 2021 and AJ was over the moon for her teammate because they have both work so hard during that season and she knew that Max deserved that championship. It was a shame they didn't win the constructors because that went to Mercedes but hey there's always another season for that to be won. Also AJ and Lando became an Uncle and Aunt because their brother Oliver and his partner Sav gave birth to a beautiful little girl named Mila. Also, towards the end of the 2021 season, the Williams team lost a valued member of the team and that was Sir Frank Williams, it hit George hard and AJ was there to support her Husband. On the next race weekend she honour Sir Frank Williams on her helmet with the words 'Sir Frank Williams' along with the Williams logo, on her Red Bull helmet.
2022 went by as quick as anything! AJ won world championship and Red Bull won the constructors, so there was definitely a big after party, after the race. But AJ had another surprise, she found out she was pregnant just before the race and wanted to tell George, after the race. When she told George that he was going to be a dad, he was over the moon with excitement but when she said she was expecting twins, his eyes went wide with shock and he yelled "I'm going to be a dad to two little racers". Now that made everyone laugh.
When AJ told Christian that she was expecting and that she couldn't race next season, he said he was willing to keep her on but as a coach for the junior drivers, so they could ask her for advice an tip on how to improve their performance and she kindly accepted.
9 months later she gave birth to a healthy baby boy and baby girl, at the start of the summer break of the 2023 season. AJ and George named their baby boy Finley Lando Frank Russell and they named their baby girl Rosie Victoria Cisca Russell. They chose these names for their children because of the people who have inspired them and supported them through some tough time and it was AJ's idea to honour them.
A year and half after the twins were born, AJ was back training, ready to go back to racing in the 2025 season. By the time she came back to racing her contract with Red Bull was up but she got an offer from a team she didn't expect... AJ was offered a seat with McLaren.
The day she went to sign the contract was the day she bumped into her brother at the factory and he was asking about the papers she was carrying and she told him that they were going to be team mate for the 2025 season, he was over the moon and gave her a massive bear hug.
The Norris Twins were finally able to be teammate because its been a dream of theirs since they were little kids. The Norris Twins are back together with there strong unbreakable bond. George was happy that his wife was back racing because he missed her out on the track. He was still racing for Mercedes.
With Finley and Rosie growing up around the racing scene, they always knew they wanted a career of some sort within Formula One.
Finley grew up to be exactly like his mum and dad and become a Formula One driver, for either Red Bull or Williams, the two teams his mum and dad drove for at the start of their Formula One careers.
Rosie didn't want to be a driver, but she wanted to be a mechanic or engineer because she liked fixing things and making sure that that everything is in working order.
Many years later, by the time AJ and Lando were 41 and George was 42, all three of them decided to retire from racing at the end of the 2040 season because they wanted the younger talent to take over and enjoy a lengthy career as they did.
AJ won 8 world titles during her racing career in Formula one and she is proud of that achievement. She got her 8th title at the end of the 2040 season. Lando and George both got 6 world titles in their careers and they couldn't be more pleased with the result.
After all three of them retired from racing, they didn't leave the Formula One scene, they decided to all go and work for Sky Sports F1 and be presenters.
This meant that the Norris Twins were stuck together until the end of time.
But for now, The Norris Twins are out
